The design brief for the ASUS Zenbook UX301 sought to deliver a product that fully maximizes “mechanism, performance, and materials”. The designers achieved that by delivering a Zenbook with a scratch-resistant, highgloss glass lid. The use of Corning Gorilla Glass on the UX301’s lid improves on the original Zenbook’s blade-thin profile, making it lighter, thinner, and more portable. On top of that, the ceramic glass lid brings a different feel to the cold feel most laptops have today. There’s a functional aspect to it as well, with the design enhancing RF efficiency for better signal transmissions. ASUS S1 Mobile LED Projector
The ASUS S1 Mobile LED Projector is a compact ultraportable projector with dimensions compact enough to fit in your pocket. The VariDrive features a transformational design which can be “twisted”, allowing it to stand vertically to save space when being used and lay flat when being carried around. “We focused on fast, intuitive usability and utilize rotating angles to accomplish our design goals through form transformation.
