[Desktop Chassis] Guidelines for FIO and Fan Cable Connections
To ensure the optimal functionality of your case's front I/O control panel (FIO) and fans, adhere to these instructions prior to installation. This guide offers comprehensive instructions for connecting fan cables and FIO cables to the motherboard. Proper connection methods are crucial for achieving best performance and cooling efficiency. For more detailed information, consulting your product manuals is highly recommended.
For FIO Connecting
The FIO cables and their corresponding motherboard ports are illustrated in the diagram below.
Note: The demonstrations of motherboard ports are exemplified using ASUS motherboards. The actual appearance and port nomenclature may vary depending on the specific manufacturer and model. Therefore, it is imperative to consult the motherboard manual for precise and accurate guidance.
For Fan Connecting

-If you are connecting fans using a fan hub, prioritize connecting to the fan1 port.
As illustrated, we have used GR701 and TFH-01 as examples. Please refer to the locations of the initial connection ports as depicted in the diagram below.
Note: It is advisable to consult the user manual for both the computer chassis or the fan hub to ascertain the precise location of the initial connection port.
