[SSD Enclosure/ External SSD] How to move my game in PS5 to SSD Enclosure /External SSD?
Note: This set up is based on PS5 Version 21.01-03.10.00, few terms may be different in other versions.
- Once you successfully format SSD Enclosure/ External SSD, click on the option button on PS5 controller and you will see [Move to USB Extended Storage ]option while selecting game.
- Select [Move], PS5 will automatically calculate the estimate storage and ask for your confirmation.
- After moving your game to SSD Enclosure/ External SSD successfully, you will see all the games categorized in two sections: [Console Storage] and [USB Extended Storage].
- If you want to move your game from SSD Enclosure/ External SSD back to PS5, simply select the option [Move to Console Storage] after clicking the option button on PS5 controller.
Note: PS4 games can be played on PS5 directly after saving in SSD Enclosure/ External SSD. But PS5 games are only for storage.
