[AIOT] Frequently Asked Questions for ASUS PureGo OW100

Q: I found that the size of the aerator in the adaptor kit does not fit my home's faucet. Does this mean that I cannot install it?
A: 1. Please note that this product cannot be used with showerheads and pull-out faucets.

Q: Does using the ASUS Ozone Water Sanitizer for a long time affect health?
A: The ASUS Ozone Water Sanitizer has been verified by qualified laboratories; the concentration of ozone in the water is <0.4ppm and the emission of ozone in the air is <0.05ppm, both of which are within the safe usage specifications for humans. Please use it with confidence. For information on the ozone emission standards, please refer to the SGS Ozone Emission Report on the official website.

Q: Why does the backlight suddenly turn off and the supply of ozone water stop after using for a period of time?
A: In order to avoid excessively high concentrations of ozone indoors due to prolonged use, the machine is designed to enter a protection mode and stop supplying ozone water after 20 minutes of continuous operation. Please refer to the manual for the method to release the protection mode.

Q: The circular decorative cover cannot be attached to the device. How can I solve this issue?
A: Please try installing the decorative cover by reversing it front and back and aligning the high and low surfaces of the ring with the device. Also, make sure that the silicone tube and adapter cord are not being pressed by the decorative cover

Q: How long does it take for the ozone water to flow out after turning on the faucet?
A: It takes about 1 second. The ozone water will flow out when you see the LED backlights turn on.

Q: When PureGo is installed in the kitchen, the device works fine, but it doesn't work when installed on the bathroom sink. What could be the problem?
A: The ozone may not be able to output due to different water pressures for different faucets, so please adjust the water pressure of the faucet.

Q: After using the device for a while, the three LED lights in the front flash on and off, and ozone cannot be output. Has the device malfunctioned?
A: In order to avoid indoor ozone concentration becoming too high due to long-term use, the device has a mechanism that stops supplying ozone after 20 minutes of continuous use, and enters a protection mode. Please refer to the manual for the way to remove it.

Q: How long after the ozone water flows out does it turn into regular water for use and consumption?
A: Ozone is a highly reactive substance and begins to break down into oxygen after approximately 3-5 minutes. After standing still for 20 minutes, it will be reduced to regular water. If accidentally consumed, there is no need to worry as the ozone water produced by this product is not harmful to the human body. Please use it with confidence.

Q: How long does it take to exit the protection mode after the machine enters it?
A: The protection mode will automatically be released after 20 minutes, or you can press the side button or unplug the power to force exit the protection mode.

A: It is recommended to use hand soap if your hands have oily residues to ensure thorough removal of grease. However, ozone water can be used to disinfect hands that are not greasy.

Q: Does the ozone water sterilizer require any consumables?
A: The consumable part is the filter screen, which can be replaced after normal use of about 2-3 years. Please call the ASUS service hotline to inquire about purchasing consumables.

Q: Has the ozone water sanitizer passed safety certification?
A: The product has passed SGS certification

Q: What is the length of the ozone tube and adaptor cord used for the ozone water sanitizer?
A: The length of the ozone tube is 150cm, and the length of the adaptor cord is 180cm.

Q: I noticed that the ozone function doesn't seem to activate when the water flow is a bit smaller than usual. What could be the reason for this?

A: The activation of the ozone output depends on the pressure generated by the water flow. Therefore, if the water pressure is too low, the ozone output may not activate.

Q: If the device has been correctly installed according to the instructions in the user manual and the webpage, but still no ozone water comes out when the faucet is turned on. In addition, the backlight of the device does not light up, what could be the reason?
A: In this case, it is possible that there is a blockage in the ozone silicone tube, preventing the ozone from flowing smoothly. Please check if there is any part of the silicone tube sticking together, and gently press and rub the affected area with your fingers to restore the flow.

Q: If there is a leak at the joint of the aerator, what can I do?
A: Please check whether the aerator is tightened properly and whether the O-ring seal inside the aerator is installed correctly.

Q: If the water pressure in your home is low, and the device cannot properly generate ozone when I turn on the faucet, what should I do?
A: In this situation, we recommend checking the water pressure adjustment point under the sink and using a screwdriver to adjust the water pressure to a suitable level before testing the device again.

Q: The PureGo user manual specifies an input voltage range of 100V to 240V. Can it be used with a 220V socket?
A: Yes, as the input voltage range is between 100V to 240V, it can be used with a 220V socket

A: It is recommended to follow the correct vegetable washing method, use the PD100 detector in conjunction with OW100 sanitizer when washing the produce.

Q: The manual suggests using water at a temperature between 5°C to 40°C. What will happen if the temperature is outside of this range?
A: The concentration of ozone in water decreases as the temperature increases, which affects the sterilization result. Therefore, it is recommended to use water within the temperature range of 5°C to 40°C.
