[AiMesh] What is Dedicated Wireless Backhaul(DWB)? How does it work?
A Dedicated Wireless Backhaul mechanism helps your AiMesh system to get the best connection bandwidth between each mesh node. The initial release of AiMesh products only supported Triband models (GT-AC5300, RT-AC5300). Now on the latest release, we've extended the dedicated wireless backhaul technology to triband+dual band or dual band+triband models.

If you have already set up 3 different WiFi names for each band, the dedicated backhaul will not automatically establish. In order to do so, you'll need to enable Smart Connect.

This hidden Wi-fi allows you to connect via manually inputting Wi-fi profiles into your PC or phone. You can display it from the wireless advanced settings.
