[Windows 11/10] How to change Screen Size, Display Resolution, and Refresh Rate in Windows Display

You are able to adjust the size of text and windows on the desktop, display resolution, or refresh rate to fit your personal preferences.

Please go to the corresponding instruction based on the current Windows operating system on your device:
Change the size of text and apps
- Type and search [Change the size of text, apps, and other items] in the Windows search bar①, and then click [Open]②.
- If you would like to change the size of text and windows, please select the size you want from the Scale section③.
- If you just want to make a bigger text on your screen, but not to change the size of all displays or apps, you can refer to the following method:
Type and search [Make text size bigger] in the Windows search bar④, and then click [Open]⑤. - In the Text size section, drag the slider to adjust the size of text and then click Apply⑥.
Change Display Resolution
- Type and search [Change the resolution of the display] in the Windows search bar①, and then click [Open]②.
- If you would like to change the display resolution, please select a resolution you want from the Display resolution section③.
You can also adjust the display orientation, which includes Landscape, Portrait, Landscape (flipped), or Portrait (flipped) in the Display orientation section④. - You may receive the following notification after adjusting the display settings, please select [Keep changes]⑤ to enable your settings.
Change Refresh Rate
- Type and search [View advanced display info] in the Windows search bar①, and then click [Open]②.
- If you would like to change the refresh rate, please select a rate you want from the Choose a refresh rate section③.
Note: The refresh rate is adjusted depending on the specification of your device, it’s not changeable for every model.
Change the size of text and apps
- Type and search [Change the size of text, apps, and other items] in the Windows search bar①, and then click [Open]②.
- If you would like to change the size of text and windows, please select the size you want from the Change the size of text, apps, and other items section③.
- If you just want to make a bigger text on your screen, but not to change the size of all displays or apps, you can refer to the following method:
Type and search [Ease of Access display settings] in the Windows search bar④, and then click [Open]⑤. - In the Make text bigger section, drag the slider to adjust the size of text and then click Apply⑥.
Change Display Resolution
- Type and search [Change the resolution of the display] in the Windows search bar①, and then click [Open]②.
- If you would like to change the display resolution, please select a resolution you want from the Display resolution section③.
You can also adjust the display orientation, which includes Landscape, Portrait, Landscape (flipped), or Portrait (flipped) in the Display orientation section④. - You may receive the following notification after adjusting the display settings, please select [Keep changes]⑤ to enable your settings.
