    ISA-486

    After independently developing the first ASUS motherboard based on the Intel 486 processor, Intel subsequently partnered with ASUS to develop the ISA-486 motherboard. This series of events set ASUS on a path to becoming the world’s leading motherboard manufacturer.

    375

    The 375 was the first ASUS graphics card with a PCI port. With its release, ASUS entered the graphics card segment with a solution that was ideal for commercial use.

    ASUS V8200 DLX

    The V8200 DLX established another industry standard by introducing the first graphics card in the market with a premium black PCB. V8200 Deluxe was also state of the art with the highest overclocking capability of the time, from 250MHz base to 550MHz overclock.

    ROG Crosshair Extreme

    The first ROG Motherboard — ROG Crosshair Extreme — was designed by a select, specialized R&D team. It redefined expectations for what a motherboard could be, offering the power and flexibility that allowed enthusiasts to push the limit of performance. The debut of the Crosshair Extreme catapulted the ROG brand forward, and ROG has remained a gaming hardware leader ever since.

    The PG191 was the first ASUS LCD display designed primarily for gaming. It featured a maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024, a 2ms response time, SRS TruSurroundXT audio, and five touch-sensitive preset buttons on the side panel for various effects.

    The Striker Extreme was based on the NVIDIA® nForce® 680i SLI™ chipset and designed for overclocking. It featured an enthusiast-orientated BIOS and active cooling. Since the launch of the Striker Extreme, ROG motherboards have continued to develop and break overclocking records

    ROG EN9800GT Matrix

    ROG entered the graphics arena with EN9800GT Matrix, and offered adjustable clock speeds, voltage and fan settings. It also featured proactive cooling intelligence that reacted to changes in GPU loads. Included software offered multiple profiles to suit different scenarios, plus real-time monitoring for the GPU, temperature, and voltage

    TUF Sabertooth 55i

    The first TUF motherboard — Sabertooth 55i — was based on the Intel® P55 chipset. Developed to provide military-grade reliability, the 55i set a standard that has been the hallmark of all TUF hardware. Each TUF motherboard undergoes extreme temperature tests, extensive Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) tests, and multiple whole-build server-grade stability tests. Stringent testing ensures that every TUF motherboard can be trusted in any environment.

    ASUS ProArt PA246Q was a 24-inch monitor designed for media professionals. It featured a 10-bit P-IPS panel with 98% coverage of the Adobe color space (100% RGB coverage and 102% NTSC coverage), an adjustable stand, a comprehensive color management system, △E<5, and a range of connections.

    P8P67 Deluxe

    ASUS offered the world’s first graphic EFI motherboard firmware architecture in the Intel P67 platform, redefining traditional keyboard-only BIOS and enabling convenient mouse input. The EFI architecture made it possible to incorporate an EZ Mode that simplified system setup, and an Advanced Mode granted nuanced controls for experienced tweakers.

    ROG Maximus VI Formula

    The ROG Maximus VI Formula motherboard gave overclockers the ability to push higher frequencies. It raised the bar of water cooling with the CrossChill hybrid system, which adopted a G1/4” thread to accommodate the latest water-cooling fittings.

    ROG Poseidon GTX 780

    The ROG Poseidon GTX 780 was the first graphics card to feature a combined water block and air cooler. The card could be cooled by standard air cooling, or plumbed into a custom water loop to deliver lower temps.

    The ultra-slim 27-inch Designo MX279H monitor featured an edge-to-edge frameless panel with 178° ultra-wide viewing angle and AH-IPS technology for incredible visuals. In addition, built-in ASUS SonicMaster technology, co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®, delivered premium audio performance. The Designo MX279H won the 2012 Good Design and Best of CES Innovation awards.

    The Matrix Gold 20th 980 Ti was built to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ASUS graphics cards. It was one of the highest-clocked production graphics cards, achieving boost clocks of up to 1,367MHz (factory OC).

    The ROG Gladius Gaming Mouse was the first mouse to offer push-fit switch sockets, allowing users to customize click force.

    The ROG Maximus VIII Hero Alpha motherboard evolved the ROG aesthetic further by including headers for off-the-shelf LED strips. Included proprietary Aura software allowed users to personalize onboard lighting across the PC.

    AI Overclocking was first introduced in select Z390 motherboards. By utilizing a proprietary algorithm that rates the quality of the silicon to identify where a chip lands on the spectrum, AI Overclocking automatically tunes the system to make the overclocking process better and faster. Available in Windows or directly through the UEFI, it profiles the CPU and cooling to predict the optimal configuration for each individual system. The onboard awareness also watches system vitals like temperatures, fan speeds, and power draw to evaluate cooling performance.

    The ROG Dominus Extreme is a large 14" x 14" EEB form factor motherboard that utilizes Intel's enterprise-grade Xeon® chipset, leaving room for a new tier of high-end desktop based on a Skylake X chip with 28 cores. It offers a dozen DDR4 DIMM slots with support for up to 192GB of RAM.
