Film and post-production solutions with an HDR edge
ASUS is renowned for its display technologies aimed those working in creative industries, and at NAB 2019 we’re exhibiting our latest monitors designed for the demanding professionals that work in this field.
World-class creatives appreciate that the very best LED-backlit LCDs employ full-array local dimming technology, which has been adopted by ASUS ProArt series monitors, to achieve high contrast ratios and stunning visual performance. The backlight LEDs can be controlled by zones, with each zone corresponding to part of the screen, and dimming individual LEDs makes it possible to display contents with bright and dark areas while preserving detail in both.
At NAB, ASUS is exhibiting two new ProArt PA32UCX and PA27UCX to build on the leading display technology with mini-LED backlighting, which are physically smaller than conventional displays’ backlight LEDs, and therefore can be packed in more densely – enabling increased brightness and uniformity. In addition, ASUS Smart HDR technology features multiple PQ curves to fit different content-creation needs. It also supports multiple HDR formats to exude the most accurate HDR performance on ASUS ProArt monitors, delivering exceptional onscreen clarity and detail.
ASUS ProArt PA32UCX
ASUS ProArt PA32UCX is the world’s first 32-inch 4K HDR monitor with peak brightness of 1,200 nits and mini-LED backlighting: this enables 1,000+ zones of local dimming control and supports the most HDR formats, including both HLG and HDR-10, enabling the display to produce the deepest blacks and the brightest whites with sharper, more detailed visuals.
