Fremont, USA, June 28th, 2024 - ASUS has announced today that its latest addition to the TUF Gaming series, the TUF Gaming A14, revealed at Computex, is now open for preorder. The TUF Gaming A14 sets a new standard for value-driven gaming laptops, introducing a new ultraportable 14” chassis along with several premium features to enhance the renowned TUF Gaming Laptop lineup.
A brand-new 14-inch form factor
The TUF Gaming series now includes a 14-inch model, the TUF Gaming A14, which is both lightweight and powerful. Weighing in at 3.21 lb and measuring as thin as 0.66 inches, this ultraportable device offers a superior gaming experience despite its compact dimensions. The A14 supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 4060 Laptop GPU with a 110W maximum TGP — far higher than many of its competitors — for an exceptional gaming experience.
In addition, the TUF Gaming A14 comes with dual-channel LPDDR5 memory as well as two M.2 2280 SSD slots. USB power delivery rounds out this mobile powerhouse, for easy on-the-go charging with wide compatibility between devices thanks to USB-C®.
AI-enhanced gaming and productivity
The TUF Gaming A14 is a lightweight, yet powerful Windows 11 laptop. Despite its compact size, it comes equipped with impressive specifications, including an AMD Ryzen™ R7 – 8845HS or AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370 processor and up to an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU. Additionally, the device offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5X 7500MHz memory and up to 2TB 4.0 extendable storage, making it a formidable tool for both gaming and productivity.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming a crucial aspect of computing. The TUF Gaming A14 laptop is designed to meet the demand for local AI processing with its powerful AMD Ryzen™ processors, which feature built-in Neural Processing Units (NPUs). The AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370 processor's NPU delivers up to 50 TOPS (Trillions of Operations Per Second) of local AI performance. This allows users to run AI models and tools directly on the device, eliminating the need for cloud services and reducing power consumption. Moreover, the A14 is equipped with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ Laptop GPUs, which further enhance its AI capabilities by delivering superior performance in image generation, data science applications, and AI-powered games.
