Austin, Texas, October 9, 2024 - The Global Embedded World exhibition is being held for the first time in North America, in Austin, Texas, with participation from several Taiwanese companies. ASUS has collaborated with companies in agricultural automation, automated checkout systems, and medical equipment to implement Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) technology, supporting AI solutions.
The global Embedded World exhibition has been held in Nuremberg, Germany since 2003, and this year marks its inaugural event in North America, focusing on embedded systems technology and the Internet of Things. From October 8 to 10, over 150 companies are exhibiting, with Taiwanese firms actively participating.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a current trend, and Taiwan plays a significant role in AI solutions. ASUS, a major supplier of servers and IoT devices, announced in a press release its collaboration with AI electric tractor company Monarch Tractor to integrate AIoT technology into its products, helping automated tractors with navigation and autonomous control tasks.
Monarch Tractor's electric agricultural tractors focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions to achieve sustainable agriculture.
With increasing demands for agricultural productivity and the push for sustainable farming, the automated tractor market is expected to grow over the next decade. ASUS stated that AIoT technology will bring transformative changes to agriculture by enhancing precision and efficiency.
Additionally, ASUS’s technology also supports California-based startups like Mashgin, which focuses on automated checkout systems, and RadNet, which provides outpatient diagnostic imaging services. These collaborations showcase ASUS's commitment to delving deeper into the smart retail technology market and the healthcare sector.
