ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced an official partnership with SRO Motorsports America to expand GT Racing and the next generation of racing simulators.
“SRO has made it our mission to partner with the best of the best,” said Robbie Montinola, SRO Motorsports America vice president of marketing and communications. “With esports a big part of our global strategy and its deep connection with our real-world racing championships, a partnership with ASUS ROG further enhances that tie. Their reputation as a leader in its industry fits perfectly with our other technology partners like AWS and CrowdStrike. Add in that fact that many of our racers already use ASUS ROG hardware in their personal sim training, this makes for a great collaboration.”
Through this partnership, ASUS will market its Republic of Gamers (ROG) monitor, desktop, and laptop product lines, along with other hardware to the greater motorsports community to provide the ultimate, immersive racing simulator experience. Each SRO Esports Racing simulator station will be equipped with top-notch ASUS ROG monitors and desktops: including the ROG Strix XG43UQ, a 43-inch 4K HDMI 2.1 display, and the GA35 gaming desktops. The ROG product lines will be integrated into future Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS Racing events, as well as the upcoming MobileEye GT World Challenge America Esports Championship.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with SRO Motorsports America and provide a unique esports experience to racing and gaming enthusiasts,” said Deb Lee, senior manager of brand marketing at ASUS North America, “as the new official partner of SRO Motorsports America, we’re excited to provide the latest ROG gear to aspiring sim racers and contribute to the growth of the racing sim community!”

SRO Motorsports Group - The global leader in GT racing
With nearly three decades’ experience at the forefront of a continuously evolving industry, SRO Motorsports Group is the established global leader in GT racing. A busy 2021 season saw events staged under the SRO banner, highlighted by the prestigious TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa.
The company's expanding portfolio of series includes Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS categories in Europe, America, Asia and Australia. Each retains its unique identity, while also allowing competing brands to dispute a global manufacturers’ title through their continental representatives. What’s more, a groundbreaking new initiative for 2021 saw virtual racing come together with the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup, where a series of esports contests counted towards the real championship.
Staged since 2016, the flagship Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by Pirelli sees world-leading manufacturers compete through their local teams at marquee events across the globe. Considerable emphasis is placed on amateur competitors, too, with the Fanatec GT2 European Series concept combining a relaxed environment with highly professional standards for drivers using GT2 machinery.
SRO also works with the FIA to organize and promote the FIA Motorsport Games, a multi-disciplinary event in which drivers compete in the colors of their national flag. A range of international and domestic series catering for GT2, GT3, GT4 and touring car machinery also form part of an extensive on-track program, while the burgeoning sim racing scene has taken on considerable importance through the SRO Esport GT Series.
In addition to promotion and organization, the company operates the SRO Race Centre by MMC service facility at Circuit Paul Ricard, and provides the ultimate driving opportunities at world-renowned venues through Curbstone Track Events. Combining a passion for performance with industry-leading experience, SRO continues to play a key role in shaping the future of global GT racing.
