ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces New Evangelion Collaboration

Fremont, California (July 24, 2023) - ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced a new collaboration centered around EVA-02 and Asuka from the long-celebrated Evangelion anime series. PC DIY builders and anime fans can now enjoy a second impact of premium ROG components and peripherals elevated by the classic EVA-02 red and orange colorway with a variety of custom Evangelion-themed decals and graphics.

The new EVA-02 lineup includes an ROG Maximus motherboard, ROG Strix GeForce RTX™ graphics card, ROG Ryujin AIO cooler, ROG Hyperion gaming case, graphics card holder, peripherals and other gear.

ROG Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 Edition motherboard

This special version of the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero arrives with EVA-02’s signature red and orange theme and traces of green. The backplate design comes with EVA-02 Beast Mode and Evangelion patterns, supporting this motherboard’s immense power and control, as it takes 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors and DDR5 memory kit to the next level. An A.T. Field design around the CPU socket and Polymo lighting on the I/O cover switches between Asuka and regular EVA-02.

ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 EVA-02 Edition graphics cards and ROG Herculx EVA-02 Edition graphics card holder

The EVA Editions of the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 includes a unique EVA-02 color theme on the fan shroud and right-hand side of the card, and an Asuka art on the backplate. The cards come equipped with a myriad of ASUS features, including Axial-tech fans with reverse rotation and 0dB technology, an exclusive vapor chamber design, and top-shelf power delivery. The ROG Herculx EVA-02 Edition graphics card holder is styled like the EVA-02’s Progressive Knife and features an adjustable wheel to fine-tune height.

ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB EVA-02 Edition AIO cooler

The ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB EVA-02 Edition embodies the Evangelion spirit and is adorned by Asuka-inspired artwork around the aluminum bezel. In addition to monitoring system vitals, the Ryujin’s expansive 3.5-inch LED screen can display a collection of Asuka and EVA-02-themed animations. The ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB EVA-02 Edition also includes three special 120 mm ARGB fans that snap together with an advanced magnetic connector.

ROG Hyperion EVA-02 Edition chassis

The ROG Hyperion EVA-02 Edition is a premium gaming chassis that includes an EVA-02-themed lighting panel. Interior and exterior details match the aesthetics of the EVA-02, making it the foundation of the collaboration.

ROG Strix Scope RX EVA-02 Edition keyboard and keycap set

The ROG Strix Scope RX EVA-02 Edition features an EVA-inspired red-and-orange aluminum case around a full array of ROG RX optical mechanical switches. This formidable combo provides wobble-free keystrokes and a near-zero debounce delay, plus IP57 water resistance and dust resistance. For users who enjoy swapping keycaps, ROG is also releasing an EVA-02 theme keycap set, so users can mix and match on their keyboards.

ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint EVA-02 Edition mouse and mouse grip tapes

The ROG Gladius III Wireless AimPoint also enters the fray with precision and accuracy up to 36,000 dpi and an EVA-02 Edition design and color scheme. ROG is also launching an EVA-02 themed firm mouse grip tape for the ROG Gladius and Harpe Ace mice.
