[NUC] Unable to Boot into Windows* 10 on NUC Kit NUC8i5BEH with UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface ) Mode Enabled
Resolution
Check that the SSD is recognized:
- Press F2 to enter BIOS during boot.
- Go to the SATA Port and M.2 NVMe SSD:
Advanced > Devices > SATA > Chipset SATA Controller Configuration - Check SSD information in SATA Port and M.2 NVMe SSD
If the SSD has been detected, please change Boot Priority in BIOS.
If the SSD hasn't been detected, please change another SSD or another NUC to test.
Change Boot Priority in BIOS:
- Press F2 to enter BIOS during boot.
- Go to the Boot Priority setting:
Advanced > Boot > Boot Priority - Uncheck UEFI Boot in UEFI Boot Priority.
- Check Legacy boot in Legacy Boot Priority.
- Press F10 to save the changes and restart.
If Legacy Boot setting in BIOS is grayed out and cannot be enabled, please refer to Legacy Boot is Greyed Out in BIOS Setup.
