The Zenfone 11 Ultra is Asus' latest attempt in the premium segment, with an entry price to this segment. It manages to be a very balanced high-end smartphone, with a launch price below €1000 (€929).

Asus is not a brand we immediately associate with smartphones, which doesn't mean they don't make excellent equipment. This is once again proven with the Zenfone 11 Ultra.

Asus took a bit of inspiration from its successful ROG Phone line, and by that I'm referring to a series of angular lines that cut through the frosted glass back and really make the phone stand out. The distinctive camera "island" also appears to be inspired by the one we've seen several times on the ROG Phone, and that's no criticism. Everything is very well implemented and put together, and exudes confidence.

It is a phone for those who are demanding, but not to the extreme. It belongs to users who go for function but not perfectionism. It is an alternative for those who don't want to sign up to Samsung or Apple, but are too organized to tolerate Xiaomi, Viva, or Honor-style extensions.
