This download record provides options for updating the BIOS for Intel® NUC Kits NUC9i5QNX, NUC9i7QNX, NUC9i9QNX. You only need to download one.
The readme file includes BIOS update instructions for advanced users. If you need complete step-by-step instructions on how to use each of these BIOS update methods, refer to BIOS update instructions.
Which file should I choose?
1) Express BIOS update [QXCFL579.0074.EBU.exe] - Self-extracting Windows*-based update file, designed to be used on Windows systems.
2) F7 BIOS update [QX0074.CAP] - .CAP file to be used for F7 BIOS Update method. It requires a USB flash device.
3) UEFI BIOS update [QXCFL579.0074.UEFI.zip] - Allows you to update the BIOS from the EFI Shell. It requires a USB flash device.
4) BIOS Recovery [QXCFL579.0074.RECOVERY.zip] - In the unlikely event that a BIOS update is interrupted, it's possible the BIOS may be left in an unusable state. Use the recovery BIOS update to recover from this condition. It requires a USB flash device. Follow the recovery instructions in the Readme file.
