[Notebook] Operating System Compatibility for Models Equipped with NPU

Applicable Models: Models containing an Intel Lunar Lake CPU or later platform processors, AMD Strix Point CPU or later platform processors, and equipped with an NPU (Neural Processing Unit).

 

Computers that meet the above CPU platform requirements and are equipped with an NPU need to run on Windows 11 24H2 or a higher version of the operating system to fully support the NPU and camera functionalities.

Computers equipped with the original operating system from ASUS are already installed with Windows 11 24H2 or a higher version, allowing full support for NPU and camera functionalities.

 

If the operating system you installed on your own is below Windows 11 24H2, you will see an Unknown device in the Device Manager, and this cannot be resolved by updating the driver.

Please update your operating system to Windows 11 24H2 or a higher version and install the drivers provided by the ASUS support website to fully support the NPU and camera functionalities.

Note: Windows operating system updates will be rolled out progressively by Microsoft. If you have not received an update notification or Microsoft has not yet provided a new version of the disk image (ISO) for download, please wait for Microsoft to release it.
