Memory requirements

  • Supports two 1.2V DDR4 SO-DIMMs
  • 1866 MHz and 2133 MHz
  • Unbuffered, non-ECC
  • Single-sided or double-sided
  • Minimum recommended memory: 2 GB
  • Maximum memory: 32 GB
  • Serial presence detect (SPD)
Note
  • 2400 MHz memory modules will work on these NUCs, but because the processor only supports speeds up to 2133 MHz, higher-speed SO-DIMMs operate only at the 2133 MHz memory timing.
  • DDR3/DDR3L memory modules aren't supported.
  • If you plan to install just one SO-DIMM, install it in the lower memory socket.
