[WTFast] How to ensure an optimal online game connection with Asus router and WTFast?

Here are some tips to help you configure your environment for the best performance of online game:

ØMake sure the firmware of your router is up-to-date.

•We will frequently update WTFast core-module to ensure all connections is good, please update your firmware to the latest version from ASUS website.

ØSwitch from 2.4GHz Wi-Fi to a wired Ethernet or 5GHz Wi-Fi connection

•2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection can be interrupted by other signals easily.

•To have the best gaming experience, wired network will be recommended.

ØTurn off your Anti-Virus temporarily

•You can enable AiProtection on the router to protect your network when playing games.

ØHalt the programs which downloads or streams music/video

•Such programs take up huge amounts of bandwidth which can interrupt your gameplay.

•WTFast is designed to only accelerate the game traffic from your computer but extra traffic can still slow down your game, causing a bad connection.

•If you cannot turn off these programs, you could enable [LAN-boost] ,which lets game packets go to internet in the first priority when you're playing games.

ØClose and terminate any VPN software

•Using a VPN with WTFast can have negative results to your game connection.

•Halting your VPN when you are gaming helps alleviate issues with unexpected lag caused by server changes from your VPN program
