[Phone/Pad] ​Troubleshooting - When the application you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or cannot be activated

Applicable situations: The application reloads, quits unexpectedly, stops responding, or fails to activate.

 

Please follow the steps below for troubleshooting:

1. Stop the recent used app: Press the button of Recent used app at the right bottom corner of menu > Tap Shut down all apps to halt the applications in use.

 

2. Memory Cleaner:Please access Quick settings (by sliding down from the top of home screen) and tap Memory Cleaner to free the memory.    

3. Restart your device.    

4. Clear App Cache:Tap Setting > Apps , Find the application that you want to clear up > Clear cache.    

5. Update the app:In Play Store, Tap a menu icon on the upper left corner My apps&games > UPDATE ALL.    

6. Access Safe Mode by long pressing power key > tapping and holding Power Off > tapping OK. If your phone works well in Safe Mode, there may be some 3rd apps that cause malfunction. Please reboot your phone and check again if it works well.     

7. Check for firmware updates:In Settings > System > System updates > Tap Check now.     

8. Uninstall and reinstall the app:Tap Setting > Apps. Find the application that you want to uninstall. Then re-download the app on Google Play Store.     

9. Backup your data and perform factory reset.
