[Bluetooth Adpater] Which Bluetooth version does my Windows computer support? Do I need a driver?
Generally, when a user connects a Bluetooth adapter to a Windows computer, it will automatically enable the corresponding Bluetooth version based on the built-in Bluetooth LMP (Link Manager Protocol) of Windows. Therefore, if the LMP is not the latest version, it may not be possible to enable BT 5.4 features.
Hence, we recommend using the latest driver provided on our support site to ensure a complete experience with our Bluetooth dongle. For example, the USB-BT540 is compatible with Windows 10 and 11; however, you may need to install the official driver to enable full Bluetooth 5.4 functionality.
