[Phone] How to fix the ROG phone and Kunai game controller connection issues

If your ROG phone cannot connect to the Kunai game controller, you can follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Charge the controller:

Ensure the Kunai controller has sufficient battery. Charge the controller for at least 30 minutes.

2. Confirm the connection method:

The Kunai controller supports multiple connection methods (Bluetooth, wired, USB-C, etc.). Make sure the connection method you are using is appropriate for your setup.

3. Re-pair Bluetooth (if using Bluetooth connection):

Delete the saved controller pairing record from the phone: Settings > Bluetooth > Saved devices > Settings, delete device.
Put the Kunai controller into pairing mode.
Search and re-pair the controller in the Bluetooth settings on your phone.

4. Confirm accessory installation:

If using the Kunai controller in wired mode or USB-C mode, ensure there is no damage or dirt on the USB-C connector. Also, ensure the Kunai controller grips and phone are correctly and securely connected.

5. Check app support:

Confirm that the game or app you are using supports the Kunai controller. Some games may require additional settings or the installation of third-party applications (such as KeyMapping) to optimize support.

6. Update system and controller firmware:

Update your phone's system to the latest version and then reconnect the Kunai controller. The phone will automatically check if the Kunai controller firmware is up to date; if not, it will automatically perform the Kunai controller firmware update.

7.Reset the controller and phone:

Reset the controller according to the Kunai controller's user manual.
Restart your phone and repeat the pairing process.

If the above steps still do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact ASUS customer support for further technical assistance.
