[NUC] NUC Crashes or Freezes When Using the M.2 NVMe SSD

Resolution

Try the following to resolve this issue

  • Update the BIOS to the latest version.
  • Locate the Self-healing BIOS support option in the BIOS and set to enabled

The Self Healing option is only available in Aptio V BIOS versions on the latest NUCs: The Self Healing feature allows BIOS to automatically attempt to recover a corrupted BIOS without needing a recovery file on external media, such as a USB flash drive.
