[Wireless Router] What is MU-MIMO?
What is it?
MU-MIMO: Multiuser multiple input, multiple output technology for Wi-Fi
MU-MIMO refers to technology available in 802.11ac Wi-Fi networks that can broadcast a signal from a number of sources to multiple systems simultaneously.
How does it work?
Older wireless routers will stream the highest bandwidth as they are able to, and let all devices connected to the router to pull from a shared pool. MU-MIMO feature allocates segments of bandwidth to up to four separate devices. (4x4)
How to enable it?
It's enabled by default and will be working automatically when compatible devices are detected/in use.
You can find the technical spec on https://www.asus.com/Networking-IoT-Servers/WiFi-Routers/ASUS-WiFi-Routers/
