ASUS SmartHome HG100 system Series Products/App Announcement
Dear ASUS Customers,
Thank you for supporting ASUS products。 Due to the product life cycle，ASUS hereby announces that support for the SmartHome HG100 series products (hereafter referred to as "this product"，as listed below [Note 1]) and the SmartHome App (hereafter referred to as "this App") will cease parts of services。 Please read the details below，and we sincerely thank you for your understanding and continued support!
• Effective immediately, ASUS discontinues the cloud data storage service for this product。 This App will no longer display history records for this product (e.g.， past electricity usage, temperature and humidity data)。
• Starting from December 31，2023，ASUS will no longer maintain/update certificates for this product (e.g., CE)，firmware; and technical support for this product and this App will no longer be available。
• From January 1，2024:
a. ASUS will discontinue :
-- Real-time push notification of this App
-- Remote monitor/control function (using this App to monitor/control this product from external network)
b. ASUS will continue to support:
-- Local monitor/control function (using this App to monitor/control this product and display real-time status within local network)
-- Zigbee pairing
-- Mechanical function of door lock/light switch/meter plug/wall outlet。
Additionally，to protect your rights and interests，please take note of the following:
a. If you need to download the final firmware version (Version 4.00.18_20230807), update tools, or SOPs for this product, please visit ASUS official website FAQ: ASUS SmartHome Gateway (HG100) - Support
b. After discontinuing the maintenance/update of this product's certificates，firmware，and this App，please be informed that we will no longer provide security updates for this APP and firmware。It is
recommended to regularly change password of this product and establish a robust router firewall to enhance system protection。
c. If you have any questions about this product or this App，please call ASUS customer service hotline at 0800-093-450 (Monday to Sunday, 09:00 to 18:00)。
