TAIPEI, Taiwan, Aug 11, 2023 — ASUS today announced the latest additions to the ExpertBook B1 series of highly-mobile laptops, packed with business-friendly features and power that make them the ideal choice for small firms, inspirational educational institutions and smart students — the 14-inch B1402 (B1402CVA) and 15.6-inch B1502(B1502CVA).
With compact designs that are easy to slip into a backpack or case, powerful up to Intel® Core™ i7 processors and a choice of 14- or 15.6-inch screens, the latest additions to the ExpertBook B1 lineup are primed to deliver impressive performance, enterprise-level security, military-grade durability, and extensive connectivity, including the very latest WiFi 6E technology — ensuring they’re the perfect portable partner to empower business productivity, everyday learning, and more.
The new ExpertBook B1 laptops also adhere to the ASUS commitment to sustainability, coming with both increased energy efficiency and a reduced environmental footprint. These laptops have EPEAT Gold, TCO 9.0 and ENERGY STAR® 8.0 certifications, and FSC™-certified materials are used in the packaging.
Mobility empowered
ExpertBook B1402 and B1502 both are packed into highly-portable frames, meaning they’re ready to be picked up and packed for use on the go, anytime and anywhere. In particular, the 14-inch ExpertBook B1402 and 15.6-inch ExpertBook B1502 both benefit from NanoEdge displays that offer a wide 178° viewing angle, so it’s easy to see the screen from any conceivable angle. The screen delivers bright and vibrant images for clear viewing under diverse scenarios and conditions. Moreover, the display is attached via a lay-flat hinge that allows the screen to be open a full 180°, making it easy to share content with others or collaborate on projects.
Performance primed
The new ExpertBook B1-series laptops pack a serious performance punch, with a powerful up to Intel Core i7 processor delivering the computing power needed to get the job done. Coupled with up to 48 GB memory and capacious up to 2 TB PCIe® 4.0 M.2 storage, B1402 and B1502 equip users for even the most intensive work — ensuring rapid operation for both office workers and students, as well as the ability to have vast libraries of business or project files and folders on tap.

Sustainably designed and packaged
The refreshed ExpertBook B1 machines have also been designed with sustainability in mind. The new models carry full EPEAT Gold, TCO 9.0 and ENERGY STAR® 8.0 certifications, and in fact even exceed the exacting latter standard — with energy consumption that’s up to 46% lower than the ENERGY STAR® 8.0 certification requirements. These certifications ensure that these models have reduced energy consumption and environmental impact, resulting in much more eco-friendly products. Even the packaging has been created with sustainability as a watchword, made out of a mixture of materials from FSC™-certified forests, recycled materials, and other controlled sources.
Security assured
ExpertBook B1 laptops are engineered for the diverse security needs presented by the worlds of work and education. Enterprise-grade login and authentication features, for example, help to keep work files and business-critical data safe and confidential. The built-in infrared camera enables fast login via face alone, while an optional fingerprint sensor empowers another layer of secure authentication — offering businesses a choice of strong defenses.
There’s also a physical webcam shield for instant privacy, with one quick swipe ensuring the outside world is shut off.
