GlideX End User License Agreement
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) constitutes a valid and binding agreement between ASUSTeK Computer Inc. (“ASUS“) and You, as a user, for the use of the ASUS Software (“Software”) defined as set forth below. By installing and continuing to use the software YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS EULA AND ANY NEW VERSIONS HEREOF.
SOFTWARE means the ASUS Software provided in or with the applicable ASUS product including but not limited to any future programming fixes, updates, upgrades and modified versions.
The Software may be accompanied by other ASUS- or third party created software that is licensed under one or more of the Free Open Source Software licenses as listed under www.opensource.org/licenses. Such Free Open Source Software is provided to you solely under the terms of the respective license agreement or copyright notice accompanying it or in the FOSS licenses file accompanying the Software. The terms of this EULA do NOT apply to such Free Open Source Software.
LICENSE Subject to the terms of this EULA, ASUS hereby grants You a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive license to use the Software solely as embedded in the ASUS products. You may make one copy of the Software in machine-readable form for backup purposes only; provided that the backup copy must include all copyright or other proprietary notices contained on the original. This license shall not be sublicensed, and is not transferable except to a person or entity to whom you transfer ownership of the complete ASUS products containing the Software, provided you permanently transfer all rights under this EULA and do not retain any full or partial copies of the Software, and the recipient agrees to the terms of this EULA.
REVERSE RESTRICTION You shall not reverse engineer, decompile decrypt or disassemble the Software or permit or induce the foregoing except to the extent directly applicable law prohibits enforcement of the foregoing.
CONFIDENTIALITY You shall have a duty to protect and not to disclose or cause to be disclosed in whole or in part of confidential information of the Software including but not limited to trade secrets, copyrighted material in any form to any third party.
Intellectual Property RIGHTS (“IP Rights”) You acknowledge and agree that all IP Rights, title, and interest to or arising from the Software are and shall remain the exclusive property of ASUS or its licensor. Nothing in this EULA intends to transfer any such IP Rights to You. Any unauthorized use of the IP Rights is a violation of this EULA as well as a violation of intellectual property laws, including but not limited to copyright laws and trademark laws.
By sending any information, material, ideas, concepts or techniques except for personal information to ASUS through the Software (“Feedbacks”), You acknowledge and agree that: (i) Your Feedbacks shall not contain confidential or proprietary information; (ii) ASUS is under no obligation of any kind of confidentiality, express or implied, regarding the Feedbacks; (iii)ASUS shall be entitled to use or disclose, at ASUS’s sole discretion, the Feedbacks for any purpose, in any way, worldwide; (iv) Your Feedbacks shall become the property of ASUS without any obligation of ASUS to You; and (v) You are not entitled to any compensation or reimbursement of any kind from.
TERM AND TERMINATION This EULA will be effective as of the date You install the Software. You may terminate this License at any time by ceasing all use of the Software and removing the Software from ASUS product. Your right will terminate without prior notice from ASUS if we think You fail to comply with any provision of this EULA.
Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THIS SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELATED COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING AND REPAIR. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASUS MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THIS SOFTWARE OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION OR DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED UNDER THIS EULA OR FOR THIS SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR AGAINST INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF USAGE OR OUT OF COURSE OF PERFORMANCE. ASUS ALSO MAKES NO WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE OR AS TO THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THIS SOFTWARE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF THE USE AND/OR PERFORMANCE OF THIS SOFTWARE REMAINS WITH YOU. Indemnity YOU agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ASUS and its affiliates, service providers, syndicators, distributors, licensors, officers, directors and employees, from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of any claim or demand (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs), due to or in connection with YOUR violation of this EULA or any applicable law or regulation, or third-party right.
GlideX Terms and Conditions
Welcome to GlideX services (hereinafter referred to as “GlideX” or “We” or “the Services”). This Terms and Conditions lists the services that we provide and your rights, so please read carefully.
I. Introduction
GlideX services include our applications and customer services, collectively referred to as “the Services.” In order to use the Services, you must agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the Services.
GlideX Terms and Conditions consist of the agreement between GlideX and you. GlideX Terms and Conditions services include rules regulated in this Terms and Conditions, Term of Use Notice, Privacy Policy, End User License Agreement, and the terms in other individual agreements, such as feedback from users, is exclusively required with the agreement of privacy notice and specific terms and conditions that are provided by us from time to time are agreed by you. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you shall have no rights to access or use our services. By using our services, you have accepted all the terms and conditions and agreed to become one of the binding parties in this agreement.
II. Change of Service Terms
Contents of this service agreement are subject to change when there is a newly-added function, an advancement in technology, or a request from legal. When there is a significant change to this service agreement, we will notify you accordingly including a notice indicated in the Services. When necessary, we will ask for your agreement first. When we change the terms and conditions of the services, you can decide whether you would like to accept the modified terms and conditions or stop using our services. If you continue to use the services after the amendment becomes effective, you are deemed to have accepted the amended terms and conditions and are willing to accept the regulated obligations. On the other hand, if you do not want to continue using the Services per the revised agreement, you can contact us to terminate the agreement. If you receive “trial services” or “free subscription” of the Services via a third party provider, you shall notify the third party provider on your own to cancel or terminate the “trial services” or “free subscription” of the Services.
III. Use of GlideX Services
To use the Services, you have to install the GlideX application on devices, such as computers, tablets, and smartphones. You shall bear the responsibility of acquiring the said device(s) and paying for the connection and digital transmission package. GlideX shall not be held responsible for the provision of the Internet connection and other telecommunication services.
We suggest that you join as a GlideX member to enjoy the full experience. To register as a member, you can go to the GlideX app on your computer > "User Center" or go to the GlideX mobile device app > side menu > "Edit profile" or go to the official website of ASUSTeK Computer Inc. You can use the general package of this service without registering as a GlideX member, but you will not be able to use the subscription package that we offer. In the Services, we will explain to you the subscription plans available: GlideX services free of charge, at present, referred to as Standard and other subscription packages, including Plus, Pro, Ultra that shall be paid. We may provide a special promotion package or services incorporating the membership eligibility. According to this service agreement, GlideX reserves the right to modify, terminate, or change the services that we provide from time to time.
GlideX member accounts shall not be shared with others. If you share your member information with others, that person may control your account or acquire your personal information, at which point, we will be unable to identify who the real account holder is. We take no responsibility for any results arising from the said situation. We strongly suggest that you do not share your GlideX member information with anyone.
IV. Subscription Services
To enjoy the subscription services, log into the GlideX international version to subscribe. If you log into 多屏中心 (GlideX), the China version, you can only enjoy the services of GlideX Standard or acquire coupons issued by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Once you subscribe to our services, your GlideX membership will be linked to your subscribed Google Play Store or Apple App Store account. Therefore, even if you replace your old phone with a new one or uninstall our app, there is no need to re-subscribe to GlideX. All you need is to log in using a GlideX account with an effective subscription. Any regulations or mechanisms regarding to in-app purchase are governed by Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
(1) Renewal; Cancellation
As regulated by Google Play Store or Apple App Store, unless you cancel your subscription on Google Play Store or Apple App Store at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription, the plan will renew automatically according to the billing cycle. If you cancel the subscription before the renewal date, you can still use your subscribed features until the end of the billing cycle, after which it will be downgraded to GlideX Standard.
(2) Package Prices
The price of packages purchased in GlideX will be displayed in local currency as set by you in your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account. Please note that the final billing amount may differ depending on the location that you selected on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
(3) Upgrade in app
When you upgrade an active paid subscription through Google Play Store, any unused time from the current subscription(s) will generate a prorated adjustment that is applied to the new subscription. On the other hand, when you upgrade an active paid subscription through Apple App Store, you will receive a refund of the prorated amount of the current subscription(s). Google Play Store or Apple App Store will charge the newly purchased item, and the new plan will be active immediately.
(4) Sales Regions of Subscription Service
GlideX services currently support in-app purchase and the regions where they are available vary depending on where the Google Play Store or Apple App Store member is registered. V. Exclusive Incentives or Coupon for Members
Members can participate in special events launched by ASUSTeK Computer Inc. from time to time to acquire coupons for service packages. Only one coupon can be used at a time and cannot be used in conjunction with other GlideX coupons. No cancellation is accepted after the coupon becomes effective. Additionally, if members subscribe to GlideX through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, the coupon will immediately become ineffective, and any unused time cannot be retained or redeemed for cash. On the contrary, if the member currently has an active subscription through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, the coupon cannot be activated for use. ASUS reserves the rights to the final interpretation of rules and to modify, terminate, or cancel the coupons at any time.
VI. Commercial Push on GlideX
We are devoted to improving user experience and the quality of our services. You agree to grant us the rights below: (1) to provide you information on promotional events relevant to our services; (2) to provide you with commercial contents paid by third parties. Note that we do not make any statements or offer any guarantees or hold responsibilities for any type of loss or harm arising from your dealings with third party advertisers. Additionally, when you interact with any third party advertisers through the Services, including but not limited to the trust that you place in the commercial and other content culminating in business transactions and the ensuing legal liabilities, the relationship shall only exist between you and the third party advertiser. If you would like to stop the commercial push, you can subscribe to a service package or acquire a promotional code or coupon to remove commercials.
VII. Service Limitations and Modifications
GlideX tries its best to maintain operations of the Services. However, technical difficulties, testing or upgrade, temporary interruptions may occur periodically. GlideX reserves the right to modify or suspend (temporarily or permanently) services regularly or from time to time for rational, as well as legal and regulatory, reasons. GlideX may notify you in advance but does not hold any legal liabilities when the said situation occurs. Except prohibited by laws, rational reasons may include repairs, maintenance, improvement of existing functions, addition of new functions to the services, realization of scientific or technological progress, or ensuring operation and safety, that require the interruption, modification, or suspension of GlideX services.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you have made pre-payment to GlideX, yet GlideX permanently terminates the services during the pre-payment period, GlideX will refund the pre-paid amount you have paid for the pre-payment period. You shall acknowledge, agree and accept the rational efforts made by GlideX although GlideX has no obligations to maintain, support, upgrade or renew the services or provide all or any specific contents via the services. This Chapter shall be implemented according to the scope of the laws.
VIII. Methods of User Notification
This is the reason why we ask you to ensure the correctness, completeness and the updated status of your personal information. We may send you a notice via email (the one that you set up in your GlideX account), regular mail or through announcements.
IX. Contact Us
If you have any questions regarding GlideX services or this agreement, please contact customer service. Additionally, if you submit any relevant thoughts, suggestions, documents, and/or proposal (hereinafter referred to as “contribution”) to GlideX through opinion feedback, third party user’s forums, or other channels or mechanisms, you then confirm and agree: (i) Your contribution does not contain any confidential information with proprietary value; (ii) in terms of contribution, GlideX will not bear any expressed or implied responsibility for its confidentiality; (iii) GlideX shall have the right for whatever purpose and in whatever method to use or disclose (or choose not to use or disclose) the contribution; (iv) GlideX may consider developing something similar to your contribution; (v) your contribution will automatically become GlideX’s asset, and you shall not expect to receive compensation of any kind; and (vi) in all situations, you shall have no right to request GlideX to pay you any fee or request GlideX to compensate or refund you in whatever format.

GlideX ASUS PC Friends Coupon Terms and Conditions
1. Conditions for obtaining coupons
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. is giving out GlideX Pro 1-year (365 days) free trial coupons, named ASUS PC Friend, to ASUS members who have purchased and registered ASUS products (including but not limited to the product list) that are still within the warranty period. By claiming the coupon, ASUS members agree to the following terms. Please read carefully the terms and conditions governing this event.
2. Notices for using coupons
ASUS members who meet the conditions of obtaining a free-trial coupon for 1-year (365 days) of GlideX Pro can obtain and activate it in the MyASUS for Windows app from [User Center] > log in > [Member exclusive coupons]. After activating the coupon, ASUS members can log into GlideX using an account with an active coupon.
i. The coupon must be claimed prior to the last day of the product warranty period; otherwise, the expired product warranty invalidates the coupon. Note that unclaimed coupons will not be reissued and cannot be retained or redeemed for cash.
ii. Only one coupon can be used at a time and cannot be used in conjunction with other GlideX coupons. Once a coupon is activated, cancellation will not be accepted.
iii. If ASUS members subscribe to GlideX through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, the coupon will immediately become ineffective, and any unused time cannot be retained or redeemed for cash. GlideX Promo Code Terms and Conditions
This GlideX Promo Code Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions") describes the terms and conditions that apply to your redemption and activation of GlideX Promo Codes ( "GlideX Promo Code(s)" ). Please carefully read the terms and conditions of this Terms and Conditions.
By redeeming or activating a GlideX Promo Code, you agree that you have read through this Terms and Conditions and you agree to be bound by this Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with this Terms and Conditions, do not redeem or activate the GlideX Promo Code.
I. Conditions for Redeeming GlideX Promo Codes
ASUSTEK COMPUTER INC. ("ASUS") provides GlideX Promo Codes in its campaigns and promotional activities (“Campaign(s)”) from time to time, and eligibility of obtaining GlideX Promo Codes varies according to different rules governing each Campaign.
You will need to be a GlideX member to redeem and activate these GlideX Promo Codes, and your redemption and activation of GlideX Promo Code are subject to your acceptance of this Terms and Conditions.
Note that if you are already a GlideX member when you participate in the Campaigns, the GlideX Promo Code will be deemed one of the coupons provided by ASUS under GlideX Terms and Conditions, and the restrictions of using a coupon will apply.
II. Notices for Using GlideX Promo Codes"
After you successfully redeem a GlideX Promo Code in GlideX Windows App or GlideX redeem site, the GlideX Promo Code will be deposited to your account or be activated directly. You may choose not to activate the Promo Code Card if you would like to activate the Promo Code Card later.
You may check the status of your GlideX Promo Code in the below paths: (i) GlideX for Windows app > [User Center] > [Promotion]; and (ii) GlideX mobile app > [Promotion].
III. Use Condition
(1) Redemption Period and Activation Period
Limited Quantity May Apply GlideX Promo Codes are required to be redeemed and activated before the end of the redemption period and activation period as announced by their corresponding Campaign(s). If the GlideX Promo Code is not redeemed or activated within the period as announced, it will no longer be valid for use.
Note that the number of GlideX Promo Codes redemption may be limited by its corresponding Campaign(s), and even if you redeem the GlideX Promo Codes before the end of the redemption period, the GlideX Cards may not be successfully redeemed.
(2) Restrictions on Activation
Only one GlideX Promo Code can be used at a time; that is, two (or more) GlideX Promo Code cannot be used together at the same time. Activating a new GlideX Promo Code will automatically replace a current one. You should choose carefully because once a GlideX Promo Code is activated, cancellation will not be accepted and no remedy will apply.
If you currently have an active subscription through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, the GlideX Promo Code can be redeemed under your account, but cannot be activated.
If you currently have an activated GlideX Promo Code, and then you subscribe to GlideX through Google Play Store or Apple App Store, your GlideX Promo Code will immediately become ineffective and any unused time cannot be retained or redeemed for cash.
IV. No Cash Value; Not Refundable or Cashable
GlideX Promo Codes have no cash value. GlideX Promo Codes, no matter valid or invalid, are not refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
V. ASUS reserves the rights
ASUS reserves the rights to the final interpretation of this Terms and Conditions, and to modify, terminate, or cancel GlideX Promo Codes at any time.
