[Phone/Pad] Troubleshooting - Issues of making or receiving calls
If you are unable to make or receive calls, please try the following steps:
Ensure your SIM card is correctly inserted and activated
● Verify that your SIM card has no issues with your carrier.
● Clean and check your SIM card for any damage, then reinsert it into your phone.
⚬ If you have another phone, try inserting your SIM card into it to see if the issue is with the SIM card.

Check SIM card settings
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Network & internet > SIM card, and enable the SIM card you want to use.
Ensure you have at least 2 bars of signal strength
Poor signal reception can affect your ability to make or receive calls. Try calling from a different location.
Make sure Airplane mode is turned off
When Airplane mode is on, your phone cannot make or receive calls, messages, or access data services like email or the internet.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Network & internet, turn on Airplane mode, wait for 5 seconds, then turn it off.
Ensure Do Not Disturb mode is turned off
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Apps & notifications > Do Not disturb, and make sure it is turned off.
Check if the contact is blocked
1. Open the Phone app.
2. Tap the More icon at the top right > Settings > Blocked numbers, and make sure the contact is not blocked.
Check for Call Forwarding settings
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Network & internet > Call > Carrier-related > Call forwarding.
3. Select the SIM card you want to use and ensure forwarding is turned off.
Restart your device
Press and hold the power button, then tap Restart.
Backup and restore factory settings
Note: Performing a factory reset will remove all apps, settings, and personal information, restoring the device to its initial state.
