ASUS inked a partnership with CORA for sustainability campaign collaboration

As a global technology leader, ASUS takes pride in its dedication to sustainability and seeks innovative ways to reduce its enviromental impact. Following the successful launch of the eco-friendly ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304), ASUS formalized its partnership with non-profit organization Communities Organized for Resource Allocation (CORA) to hold a series of activities that thrust a sustainable incredible future.

In a joint event in June 2023, ASUS and CORA held a Memorandum of Agreement signing, laptop donation turnover, and a workshop at the ASUS Philippines Office in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Echoing the ASUS 2025 Sustainability Goals in the Philippines, ASUS jumpstarted its holistic sustainability campaign by educating its employees on the dire plastic pollution in the country. The CORA talk entitled ASUStainable Solution: Circular Economy Starts with Us also demonstrated how they can make small yet significant lifestyle changes to help curtail further environmental and social repercussions. Headed by its Founder Antoinette Taus and its partner Upcycling Technologies, through CORA’s Eco-Ikot Center program, ASUS employees learned how to properly segregate plastic waste and where to donate it to give it its second life.

ASUS also donated two laptops to CORA to aid in their organizational and administrative needs for their programs, providing digital transformation in which the CORA members can generate more value.

ASUS and CORA also recently held a three-weekend mall caravan in SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, and SM Mall of Asia, where the public can donate plastic bottles in exchange for ASUS and CORA sustainable merchandise. The sustainability campaign will culminate with a coastal cleanup in September 2023.
