To conclude, the ASUS VG278QR Gaming Monitor is definitely a bang for the back monitor for its price given everything it has to offer. You basically have everything you need for a very smooth gaming experience with a very fast 0.5ms response time, 165hz high refresh rate and G-Sync compatibility out of the box. But what surprised me the most especially with a TN panel is its good 96% sRGB color accuracy.

The ASUS VG278Q is a great pick for gamers, as it offers a smooth and tear-free gaming experience thanks to its various features. It's also ergonomically designed, and good for day-to-day use. It's only real drawback is the narrow viewing angles for movie/series watching as it uses a TN panel.
"It's been argued that even pro gamers can't perceive or really benefit from numbers above 240 Hz. But even if that’s the case, we’re happy to see any instance of engineers pushing performance into the realm of unnecessary. Pricing and an on-sale date still to come."
It’s 2023, and ASUS has been voted as the Best Gaming Monitor Brand.
For gamers, performance always comes first, then value. And you can clearly see this in our results as ASUS takes Best Gaming Monitor Brand with 26% of the votes, while Prism+ is much further behind at 15%.
