After years of being technology partners, Parents for Education Foundation, Inc. (PAREF) officially became ASUS Philippines’ partner school under the ASUS Edukasyon School Partnership Program.

The leading IT solutions company has been PAREF’s technology provider of desktops and laptops since 2015.

Nato Derpo, PAREF Director for IT Services, shared that their need for technological solutions became more critical when their schools shifted to a purely online learning modality two years ago due to the pandemic.

Unfortunately for the educational foundation, not all of its 16 schools across the country were equipped with the same technology and level of competence at the time, he said.

“With this partnership with ASUS, we aim to be able to create and sustain that quality learning environment for all the PAREF schools. Now, as we start going back on campus, we will continue using technology and ASUS to improve and sustain the quality of learning,” Derpo cited.

This year, PAREF purchased several ASUS laptops and desktops to equip their offices and computer labs and assist their teaching and non-teaching staff in the digital transformation. Installed with the new Windows 11 Pro, improve your focus with a simpler, more intuitive experience and effortless navigation. Get things done with fewer clicks and swipes using the refreshed Start, Taskbar, and Navigation Center. Search across your PC and online without switching between browser, tabs, and folders, and get quick access to your most recent documents. From the centered Start and clean layout to fresh icons, wallpaper, and sounds, the new Windows makes your tasks easier. Windows 11 Pro is also the most secure Windows yet, delivering powerful built-in security including hardware isolation, encryption, and malware protection. Aligned with PAREF’s educational philosophy, ASUS Philippines also believes that collaboration helps provide integral education to students.

George Su, ASUS Country Manager, pointed out the company’s passion for delivering technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of teachers, parents, and students. “ASUS promises opportunities on digital learning (for) our partner schools like PAREF Inc.”

PAREF will benefit from three sub-programs under the ASUS Edukasyon Partnership Program, namely the School and Institution Program, Teachers and Instructors Program, and Students and Learners Subsidy Program.

As an ASUS school partner, PAREF will earn provisions for yearly development funds, computer laboratory enhancements, and technology seminars. Excelling educators and students will be entitled to exclusive discounts and seminars to upgrade them on the latest technological trends, teaching modalities, and hardware fundamentals.

Francis Avila, ASUS Philippines-SYS Commercial Business Lead, expressed his sincerest appreciation to the latest school partner for trusting ASUS as the best brand of choice.

“Your mission of providing the best education, especially in this challenging time is what ASUS truly admires and what we promise to support through our products and services. We believe that this partnership will help to produce a much more competitive generation of learners and teachers from your school,” he said.

ASUS Philippines created the ASUS Edukasyon School Partnership Program to equip learning institutions with technological solutions, enabling them to adapt to different class modalities during the new normal.
