LAS PIÑAS CITY TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AIMS HIGH WITH ASUS EDUCATION PROGRAM PARTNERSHIP
The ASUS Edukasyon Partnership Program has continuously gained traction since its launch early last year and now welcomes its first public school partner in a virtual recognition ceremony last January [date], 2022.
In the latest Virtual Partnership Recognition Ceremony, ASUS Philippines officially opened its doors to Las Piñas City Technical-Vocational High School (LPCTVHS) as part of the school partnership program.
The online Zoom event formally marks the beginning of the partnership between ASUS Philippines and LPCTVHS. Executives and representatives of both institutions were present.

ASUS Philippines introduced the
ASUS Edukasyon School Partnership Program to advance its goal of providing better access to quality education. More than ever, the program will help equip and prepare LPCTVHS in ensuring learning continuity during crises and digital transformation.
“It is the program that ASUS business team created to help schools and learning institutions in the modernization of IT facilities, help learners and educators in the enhancement of IT education, and the upgrade of teaching tools in this new day and age of digital transformation,” Avila said.
According to him, ASUS products meet and exceed the academe’s needs and expectations to provide the best solution.
For George Su, the program is a reflection of inclusivity. The partnership marked a momentous day “where we establish a meaningful impact this 2022 in the education industry in the Philippines.”
“Together with Las Piñas City Technical-Vocational High School, we can achieve our goal of providing a better digital learning and teaching experience in this ongoing pandemic through the introduction of ASUS latest laptops, desktops, all-in-one PCs, enabling progressive learning in a fast-paced world in this new normal,” Su shared.
Understanding the struggles and hardships between students and teachers during this pandemic, ASUS Philippines reached out to LPCTVHS to help the school anchor its curriculum to the needs of distance education.
LPCTVHS looks to ASUS Philippine for assistance to meet the objectives rolled out in the Department of Education’s Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan in the time of COVID–19.
Since the pandemic started, one of the biggest challenges for LPCTVHS has been Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and the resources, tools, and competencies needed to teach both teachers and students.
“Las Piñas City Technical-Vocational High School is dedicated to honing ICT skills in the basic education level. With this, we look forward to seeing the positive and uplifting progress in our school community,” Vilma G. Ebano mentioned.
“I believe with ASUS, with the quality of their products, ICT solutions, this (learning continuity) would be possible for our teachers and our students.,” Levy John D. Galano further added.
With the partnership, LPCTVHS can address its ICT needs through ASUS products, technical support, and assistance. Aside from the innovative products and solutions that ASUS offers, Avila discussed the 3 Edukasyon School Sub-Programs that the partner school is set to benefit from.
“First, School and Institution Program, which includes provision for yearly development funds, computer laboratory enhancements, and technical seminars just to name a few; Second is the Teachers and Instructors Program, which aims to award excelling educators exclusive discounts as well as seminars to update them on the latest technological trends, teaching modalities, and hardware fundamentals; and Lastly, the Students and Learners Subsidy Program, which is similar to the teacher subsidy program but instead given to students,” Avila said.
