ASUS Philippines-SYS Commercial Business Lead Francis Avila greeted OLOPS College with an acknowledgement of the private educational institution’s commitment to providing better learning opportunities for the educational sector.
“Your goal of providing quality education is what ASUS truly admires and what we will ensure to support through our products and services. I hope that this partnership will provide more equipped learners and teachers from your institutions,” Avila said.
ASUS Country Manager George Su made the partnership official with a message that shared his excitement for both institutions “to work together in ensuring we continually provide what is needed by educators and learners.”
“At ASUS, apart from producing innovative and world-leading products, we care for the welfare of our users, making our products easy to use and relevant to whatever situations users may have and together with OLOPS College, we can further strengthen these initiatives for better quality education here in the Philippines,” Su further mentioned.
The partnership offers learning institutions professional engagements like seminars and trainings, recognition of top educators, discounts to product availments, and many others.
Starting 2021, OLOPS College is set to benefit under three (3) programs, namely School and Institution Program, Teachers and Instructors Program, and Students and Learners Subsidy Program.
The Marikina-based school recently purchased 11 ASUS laptops to assist their teachers and school administration staff for the Home-Based School (HoBS) Program. In the period of transition to online classes, the initiative was started to allow the school to reach thousands of its students across the world.
Dr. Armida Salvador Samaniego, OLOPS College President, also expressed her pleasure of becoming an ASUS Edukasyon School Partner.
“We are truly excited of the many things that we can do together to contribute to education, most especially to digital learning, which is the present need of the times,” she shared.
The program was formed to help schools and learning institutions modernize their IT facilities, help learners and educators in the transformation of IT education, and enhance teaching tools, among others.
