This extensive lineup includes the ROG Fusion II 500 and 300 gaming headsets with AI Beamforming Microphones; the ROG Strix Flare II Animate gaming keyboard with AniMe™ Matrix display; the ROG Chakram X gaming mouse with the ROG AimPoint sensor and Push-Fit Socket II design; plus stylish ROG apparel.
ROG Fusion II 500 & 300 gaming headsets
The ROG Fusion II 500 gaming headset provides users with unmatched gaming audio with its high-resolution ESS 9280 with Quad DAC™ technology. Virtual 7.1 surround sound enables more realistic positional audio and 50 mm ASUS Essence drivers deliver thumping bass for more immersive gaming. The Fusion II 500 has concealed AI Beamforming Microphones that create an acoustic zone that targets the user’s mouth for clear voice pick-up and suppresses noise from other directions. Additionally, AI Noise Cancelation identifies and reduces over 500 million types of background noises by up to 95%.
Together, the mics and AI Noise Cancelation ensure a high-quality, natural voice representation to give the user an advantage in team-based online gaming.
The Fusion II 500 features Game Chat volume control, simply scrolling up increases chat volume to hear teammates more clearly in the heat of battle. It includes a 3.5 mm connector, as well as USB-C® and USB Type-A connectors for compatibility with PCs, Macs, PlayStation®, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox and mobile devices. The Fusion II 300 is identical to the Fusion II 500, minus the 3.5 mm connector and Game Chat volume control. The comfortable and lightweight Fusion II series headsets include ergonomic ear cushions for a perfect fit. Both offerings provide exciting customization options with multi-color RGB lighting with over 16.8-million colors available for a unique look.
ROG Strix Flare II Animate & Strix Flare II gaming keyboards
The ROG Strix Flare Animate II gaming keyboard is the first keyboard to feature the AniMe Matrix™ LED display, and it allows users to express themselves with customizable images and GIF animations uploaded via Armoury Crate for a unique look. In addition, the AniMe Matrix display can show audio visualizations and system parameters.
This stylish keyboard offers users metal media and volume controls at its top-left corner, as well as an ergonomic detachable wrist rest with built-in light diffuser. The wrist rest takes advantage of the Strix Flare II Animate’s light bar to emit a subtle glow when connected to the keyboard.
The Strix Flare Animate II delivers almost instantaneous response with its 8000 Hz polling rate providing a 0.125 ms response time – up to 8X faster than the competition. It is equipped with swappable ROG NX Mechanical Switches for all keys to allow users to change and install their preferred switch type for a customized feel. The durable ROG PBT doubleshot keycaps have a mid-height profile and shorter stems to reduce key wobble, and feature translucent ROG script to enable RGB lighting to brightly shine through. The ROG Switch Stabilizer mechanism reduces friction to ensure smooth keystrokes and helps to stabilize longer keys. And there’s built-in sound-dampening foam to reduce pinging to improve typing acoustics. Lastly, the Strix Flare Animate II includes a USB passthrough port for a convenient connection to other devices.
The Strix Flare II gaming keyboard is similar to the Strix Flare Animate II, but does not feature the AniMe Matrix LED display, swappable switches and light diffuser for the wrist rest. It has a color-customizable ROG logo and is equipped with ROG NX mechanical switches with ROG PBT doubleshot keycaps.
ROG Chakram X gaming mouse
The Chakram X wireless gaming mouse is the first to feature ROG AimPoint — an ROG-developed optical sensor that delivers new levels of speed and accuracy with up to 36,000 dpi and true 8000 Hz polling rate. The AimPoint sensor offers unmatched precision with a CPI deviation of less than 1%, that’s well below the 3% industry average. The sensor sensitivity level can be adjusted via the DPI button on the underside of the mouse, or while in play with DPI-on-the-Scroll. The Chakram X features tri-mode connectivity with low-latency wired USB and 2.4 GHz RF modes enabling gamers to compete at the highest levels, and energy-efficient Bluetooth to prolong battery life.
The Chakram X has a new concave joystick design that provides a more comfortable grip and is easier to reach than its predecessor. It gives the user gamepad-like levels of control: the joystick can be programmed and used in analog or digital mode, along with four buttons to mirror the A, B, X and Y buttons. The left and right mouse buttons on top feature a pivoted mechanism to ensure rapid response with a tactile feel. The updated Push-Fit Switch Socket II design is now hot-swap compatible with both 3-pin mechanical and 5-pin optical switches to allow gamers to customize click force and extend the lifespan of the mouse.
The screw-less magnetic top cover and buttons provide easy access to the switches, customizable logo and wireless RF receiver bay. The Chakram has 100% PTFE mouse feet and includes the ROG Paracord for smooth, unrestricted movement, even while charging. For added convenience, the rechargeable battery can be topped up via USB or wireless Qi.
ROG Pixel Game Jacket
The ROG Pixel Game Jacket is made of French terry fleece and features a full-zipper design with ribbed trims for a perfect blend of functionality and premium design. It features a detachable drawstring hood and 8-bit-pixel-inspired graphics to reflect old-school, retro gaming. Available in small, all the way up to XXL sizes, the Pixel Game Jacket provides a comfortable easy-to-layer fit that goes with any outfit.
ROG Gravity Hoodie
The ROG Gravity Hoodie is made of soft, heavyweight French terry fabric used Heavyweight French terry fabric and features a hood large enough for users who wear headphones. It has kangaroo pocket for small items, an embroidered ROG logo and a reflective ROG pattern at the rear for increased visibility in the dark. The ROG Gravity Hoodie is available in small to XXL sizes.
New and improved lighting
The Zephyrus G14 reimagined customization with AniMe Matrix™. Introduced in 2020, this feature offered a network of LEDs embedded in the lid for enabling custom animations and messages. For 2022, the lid is now covered with 14,969 precision CNC milled holes and 1,449 mini LEDs on models with the now-iconic AniMe Matrix display. With more LEDs than last year’s model, new animations to customize the look of the machine are possible. The Zephyrus G14 is available in Eclipse Grey or Moonlight White, featuring a Prismatic Logo nameplate with a holographic, reflective hue.
This year’s G14 also brings a collection of mini-games to the desktop, encouraging gamers to explore the full possibilities of the machine. Complete with a robust progression tracker and tons of achievements, OMNI makes a return as a virtual companion and can be enhanced with rare animations and actions over time. OMNI’s brash attitude makes him the perfect foil for a virtual companion, with plenty of unique lines and animations to be discovered. The mini-games also have some hidden AniMe Matrix patterns to unlock, encouraging users to spend more time customizing their devices. Additionally, extra animations can be downloaded directly via Armoury Crate on existing AniMe Matrix-capable machines.
