ASUS IoT Announces AISVision
TAIPEI, Taiwan, September 16, 2021 — ASUS IoT today announced AISVision, an easy-to-use software toolkit that allows developers to create computer vision capabilities using ASUS AI techniques.
With three working modes — Trainer, Runtime and Scheduler — the AISVision toolkit can be used in AI training, inference or batch-training scenarios.
Trainer mode allows developers to create a new AI model in just a few hours, or retrain their own models using new data inputs to protect their established in-house knowledge.
In Runtime mode, AISVision can be used as an inference engine to obtain in-line data, and export the data for further analysis, visualization or database management, or for use in cloud- or edge-related services.
Scheduler mode can be used for batch-training of pre-defined tasks, making the process much more efficient.
Simple, intuitive and powerful
AISVision allows intuitive, simple and quick project set-up, thanks to its zero-code AI model training. Only four steps are needed to complete AI model training and verification. Four basic models are included for vertical applications: object detection, classification, segmentation and anomaly detection.
The powerful AI training framework can operate in either supervised or unsupervised modes, and there's a report wizard for sample image result analysis. Multiple training projects can be processed in batch mode for enhanced efficiency.
The user-friendly development environment includes a unique Retrain mechanism for enhanced data privacy, and there's also an easy-to-use software update mechanism. AISVision has strong API support, including the C#, C++, and Python languages.
Aimed at smart-manufacturing applications
AISVision was developed by ASUS IoT working with our supply-chain partners to combine AI technologies and domain experiences, and it can reduce development efforts for adding computer vision to surface-defect inspection projects by about 80%. The AISVision software toolkit is a perfect match for automated optical inspection (AOI) system integrators and machine builders who want to augment the AI in their AOI solutions.
