ASUS partners with Transatel to offer Europe’s first 4G LTE-enabled Windows 10 detachable 2-in-1 PC for an always-connected internet experience
TAIPEI, Taiwan, December 11, 2017 — ASUS today announced Transformer Mini T103HAF, a revolutionary and feature-packed detachable 2-in-1 PC, to the European market. This Windows 10 device features an embedded SIM (eSIM) for an always-connected experience, even in the absence of Wi-Fi. This gives users the independence they need while on the go, either locally or anywhere across Europe.ASUS is partnering with Transatel to provide the cellular data service for Transformer Mini. The French telco is the first operator to offer 4G LTE data plans that can be purchased directly from the Windows Store. This cooperation between ASUS and Transatel makes Transformer Mini Europe’s first Windows 10 device with 4G LTE, and it will feature a free, preloaded 1GB/one-month trial bundle for use anywhere in Europe .
Transformer Mini delivers a convenient and unparalleled user experience, with Transatel serving as the Default Operational Profile (DOP), enabling cellular connectivity immediately upon powering up the device. Users will discover an out-of-the-box cellular service, Cellular Data by Transatel, and will be able to manage connectivity directly within the Windows 10 network settings. Users can enjoy attractively-priced prepaid Transatel data plans via the Windows Store.
