ASUS Republic of Gamers Presents Join the Republic: Community Challenge at G-Star in South Korea

Worldwide ROG gaming event visits G-Star for the first time, featuring well-known League of Legends gamer 'MakNooN' as team captain

BUSAN, South Korea, November 9, 2017 —ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today annouced the South Korean leg of the 2017 Join the Republic: Community Challenge (JTR:CC), which is visiting G-Star for the first time. For gamers throughout South Korea, G-Star is a highlight of the year, and this year skilled gamers can join us in the ROG booth to showcase their League of Legends (LoL) talent using the latest ROG hardware. Team captain Yoon ‘MakNooN’ Ha-Woon will be judging the auditions, and the lucky winners will go to Bootcamp and then on to the Grand Final in Sweden, in January, 2018. MakNooN is a famous Top Laner in the LoL community, making him the perfect judge for this round of auditions. He’s known throughout the international gaming scene thanks to his humorous personality and gaming success. He's played in teams such as NaJin Sword, KT Rolster and CJ Entus Frost, and claimed multiple wins including MVP titles in the earlier days of LoL, as well as competing in the world championships.
