The ASUS Family Gathers for the 2023 Year-End Banquet

TAIPEI, Taiwan, January 4, 2024 —The ASUS 2023 Year-End Banquet took place today at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall, marking the first large-scale physical gathering of ASUS staff in three years. The banquet, themed ASUS Soars, Dragon’s Roar 2024 Innovation Galore, with seating for nearly 800 tables, was attended by around 8,000 employees.

The banquet featured performances by artistes including One Million Star TV singing competition alumni Nana Lee, the ‘Diva of Love Songs’ Fish Leong, and the popular indie rock band Accusefive for the finale. The performances united the entire audience in a joyous singalong that marked the culmination of 2023’s triumphs and the dawn of 2024.

In appreciation of its employees’ efforts and contributions throughout the year, ASUS prepared a prize pool featuring Volkswagen Tiguan cars and additional prizes totaling up to NT$20 million. The lucky draw added another layer of excitement to the evening as employees won various prizes.

Hosted by renowned TV hosts Sam Tseng and Gladys Tsai, the banquet was commenced by five ASUS executives: Chairman Jonney Shih, Vice Chairman Ted Hsu, President Johnathan Tseng, and Co-CEOs S.Y. Hsu and Samson Hu. Together, the company's executives sent a specially designed e-card to each employee’s mobile device to express their gratitude and heartfelt wishes for "Peace, Health, and a Happy Year of the Dragon" and "Good Luck in the Year of the Dragon" whilst an opening video played in the background.

At the event, ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih addressed the employees and emphasized the company's business wisdom, stating, “Despite industry, despite segment, the customer's happiness is always the most important thing”. He also reiterated the importance of utilizing Design Thinking as a tool to achieve the ultimate level of the customer’s desirability, experience, and happiness whilst each of the ASUS business groups focuses on their respective target segments and aims to drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) satisfaction index to the highest level.

2023 was a year of exceptional milestones for ASUS. Interbrand declared ASUS as Taiwan’s Most Valuable Global Brand for the 10th year after the company achieved a record brand value of US$2.2 billion. The company also garnered international recognition, being named one of Fortune's World's Most Admired Companies for eight years and Forbes' World's Best Employers for five years.
