Two new ASUS graphics cards with NVIDIA’s latest chipset bring 1080p gaming experiences to a wider audience
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, June 29, 2022 — ASUS today announced two new graphics cards featuring the latest NVIDIA® mainstream chipset: the ASUS Phoenix GeForce® GTX 1630 and ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630. Powered by NVIDIA’s Turing™ architecture, these entry-level GPUs are an ideal option for anyone looking for a 1080p gaming experience with an affordable price.
The ASUS Phoenix GeForce GTX 1630 features a single Axial-tech fan design with dual ball-bearings and IP5X dust resistance, ensuring stability and reliability for years to come. This miniature two-slot graphics card is just under seven inches long, making it a compelling option for users using ITX motherboards and small form factor cases. The Phoenix GeForce GTX 1630 is built using ASUS Auto-Extreme Technology, which cleanly solders components without human intervention for a high-quality final result designed to stand the test of time. Afterwards, the graphics cards undergo a gauntlet of testing that lasts 144 hours to ensure they reach users’ hands in tip-top shape.
For those looking for a bit more power, ASUS is also offering the TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630 and TUF Gaming GeForce GTX 1630 OC Edition. With boost clocks of up to 1815 MHz on the OC Edition (1845 MHz in OC mode) and 4 GB of GDDR6 RAM, these graphics cards can handle the latest esports titles at smooth framerates. Both TUF Gaming models are only 2.3 slots wide and just over eight inches long, allowing users to easily fit them into most standard cases. Featuring a dual fan design with space-grade lubricant, the TUF Gaming cards share the same Auto-Extreme assembly process and 144-hour validation as the Phoenix GeForce GTX 1630. ASUS also conducts additional testing to verify compatibility with other components in the TUF Gaming family, to ensure that users will never need to worry about stability or longevity.
With HDMI® 2.0b, DisplayPort™ 1.4a, and DVI-D ports, these graphics cards are great options for multi-monitor enthusiasts who want to upgrade an existing setup. Both cards also feature NVIDIA’s G-SYNC™ technology, ensuring that when using a compatible monitor, screen tearing is a thing of the past.
