I built a portable travel NAS and to do this I used the ASUS RT-AX57 Go, which is a great solution for all things networking. ASUS offers some very good Expert WiFi networks and network switches. This is definitely one of the better performing travel routers, in fact I chose it because it has the option already by default to choose which lines to use, so you have the option to have two connections at the same time.
The ASUS RT AX57 Go is a very compact router with a very simple, square design. I really liked this device, it has excellent hardware and provides support for wifi 6. It is a very useful product for those who are security conscious while surfing the net, in fact it is possible to enable adward DNS which blocks advertising and data tracking.

Small in stature but big on functionality
The ASUS RT-AX57 Go is a very special device, capable of doing many things and doing them well. It is a valuable partner in professional or even consumer environments. With its tri-mode connectivity, attractive performance and a high level of security, it is an extra tool worth carrying in a traveller's tech bag.
I was expecting a stripped down version of some router, but I was very surprised. A huge number of functions, the characteristics of the internal network do not change, no matter where you connect. VPN options, which is a must when traveling. Above-average emphasis on security, simple setup with a wizard.
For my purposes, the RT-AX57 GO is an absolutely perfect machine, and even though it obviously doesn't have the performance of the ROG Rapture, it's basically sufficient for the intended mobile use and hiding 3, 5, 10 devices in a row, and surprisingly, the antenna is integrated , the signal quality is surprisingly very good.
