IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (THESE “TERMS AND CONDITIONS”) BEFORE TAKING PART IN THIS CONTEST. THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND ASUSTEK COMPUTER MALAYSIA SDN BHD (“ASUS”) ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH YOU ARE ENTITLED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST. BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
- The ASUS 30th Anniversary [the “Contest”] is organized by ASUSTeK Computer Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. [“ASUS”]
- The Contest will commence from 29th March till 31st December 2019 (both dates inclusive) [“Contest Period”].
- The Contest is open to all Malaysia citizens residing in Malaysia aged 18 and above. The following groups of persons are not eligible to participate in this contest.
- Employees of ASUS (including its associated and related companies), their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses).
- Representatives, employees, servants and/or agents of advertising, and/or promotion service providers, and/or resellers, dealers, distributors of ASUS (including its associated and related companies), their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers, sisters, including spouses).
- Group, organization, enterprises and/or company entry submission.
- Special price support for tenders and projects.
- To be eligible to participate in the Contest, the participant must:
- STEP 1 : Purchase any of the eligible ASUS or Republic of Gamers (ROG) product from ASUS Authorized Partner Nationwide.
- STEP 2 : Fill in the entry form with your personal particulars online (https://woobox.com/jpo6yh).
- All ASUS or ROG Products are eligible except laptops, tablets, smart watches, All-in-One (AIO) PCs, Tower PCs, smartphones, powerbanks, backpacks, apparels and any laptops and/ or smartphones accessories.
- Each participant may submit multiple entries based on the eligible product in a single receipt and only entitled to win ONE (01) prize according to their registered Malaysian Identification Card Number throughout the Contest Period.
- Only original printed receipts or tax invoices with proper item description, date of purchase and retail shop information correspond to local legal requirements will be accepted for final verification. Duplicated and re-printed receipts or tax invoice are not accepted.
- Participants will immediately be disqualified from the Contest if found cheating, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of ASUS. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, counterfeiting invoices or receipts, using multiple identification numbers, tampering with, hacking of the Contest site (if any), participating in the Contest without meeting the eligibility requirements, attempting to disrupt any portion of the Contest, including but not limited to, allowing somebody else to use your Personal Information, or tampering with the entry process.
- ASUS reserves the right at any time at its absolute discretion and without prior notice to exclude a participant from further participation in the Contest.
- The contest draw date and entry submission deadline shall be conducted on the following dates:
- Any entry submission of the contest after the stipulated deadline mentioned in item (10) above, will not be entertained.
- Lucky Draw shall be conducted via web-based random name picker and will be telecast LIVE on ASUS and/or ROG Malaysia Facebook at the stipulated date and time mentioned in item (10) above.
- ASUS shall be under no obligation to notify the participants about any change in date, time or tool of the Lucky Draws.
- Participants for the contest will be contacted on the same day of the draw date through the mobile number that participants indicated on the entry form and must satisfy all verification requirements before being declared the winner. If the participant cannot be contacted after 3 attempts on the draw date and time mentioned in item (10), this participant will be disqualified and another winner will be selected.
- For monthly draws, all non-winning entries will be snowballed to the following month’s draw.
- ASUS’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest including the decisions in determining the winners will be final, conclusive and binding and no further correspondence or attempts to appeal, review or dispute of such decisions will be entertained.
- The prizes for the Contest are as follows:
- The Grand Prize for this Contest is a Mercedes-Benz GLA200.
- The Grand Prize details for this Contest are:
- The exact model variation, manufacturing year, colour and specs are at the sole discretion of ASUS.
- The Grand Prize includes (i) 1 Year Road Tax (ii) *Car Registration Fees (iii) Handling fees (iv) **Warranty Period: As per Mercedes Benz Malaysia standard warranty applies.
- The Grand Prize is not inclusive of the insurance coverage. Any additional costs, duties, taxes and/or incidental expenses or charges incurred in relation to the Grand Prize shall be borne solely by the selected winner. ASUS shall not be liable and/or responsible for the transportation costs pertaining to the collection and/or delivery of the Mercedes-Benz GLA200.
* The Car Registration fees include a running number. Any additional charges on the special number plate request will be borne by the winner.
** Warranty is 4 years with unlimited mileage based on registration date.
*** The winner shall arrange with Hap Seng Star on payment of price differences and collect the Mercedes-Benz GLA200 from designated Hap Seng Star autohaus. Any transportation cost incurred in relation to the collection of the Mercedes-Benz GLA200 will be borne by the winner
- Once ASUS has determined the Grand Prize winner, Hap Seng Star Sdn Bhd (“Hap Seng Star”) will contact the winner to settle the pre-requisite procedures and/or payments within FOURTEEN (14) days from the winner announcement date.
- The selected winner is solely responsible for the claim and collection of the Grand Prize or other Prizes at designated redemption venue determined by ASUS. Any additional transportation costs incurred pertaining to the collection and/or delivery of the Mercedes-Benz GLA200 is the sole responsibility of the selected winner.
- The Grand Prize winner MUST:
- Claim the prize within THIRTY (30) days from the winner announcement date.
- Produce original identity card and original printed receipt or tax invoice for verification when claiming the Prize.
- At his/ her own expense to claim the prize at the prize giving ceremony organised by ASUS. The prize giving ceremony venue and date will be determined and notified by ASUS at its sole discretion.
- Agree and responsible for any additional costs, duties, taxes and/or other incidental expenses, which may be incurred as a result and/or related to their acceptance of the Prize.
- In the event that the Grand Prize winner failed to comply item (22) above, ASUS reserves the right to disqualify the eligible winner and to select another eligible winner as replacement. ASUS will not compensate or be held liable for winner’s failure to claim the prize. Any appeal will not be entertained.
- The Grand Prize winner that require a representative to claim the prize on their behalf must provide ASUS a valid reason and subject to approval. The representative must provide ASUS an authorisation letter with a copy of the winner identification documents upon claiming the Prize.
- As for the Monthly Prize, ASUS will courier the Monthly Prizes to the respective winner direct according to the mailing address stated in the entry form.
- ASUS reserves the right to substitute the prizes of equivalent or higher value in the instance of shortage or unavailability.
- Prizes are not transferable and/or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods.
- For any unclaimed prize(s), a Lucky Draw session will be performed to select another eligible winner as a replacement until all the prize(s) are given out. The date and time of the Lucky Draw will be determined and pre-announce by ASUS on ASUS/ ROG Malaysia Facebook at its sole discretion.
- By participating in this Contest, the participant gives their consent to ASUS to:

- Publish and use their names and images submitted to ASUS for advertising, marketing, publicity and/or any other purpose, without any prior notice nor compensation to the participant/winner. Winner shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on the materials.
- Process the Grand Prize claiming related matters.
- ASUS may at its sole discretion change the Contest Period at any time without prior notice.
- ASUS shall not be liable for any misinterpretation or misrepresentation of facts in respect of the prizes offered and published in any mass media, marketing or advertising materials. Picture(s) of the Prize(s) shown in any advertisement, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Contest is/are solely for illustration purposes only and may not depict the actual colour model or specifications of the Prize(s) and does not include any optional accessories.
- ASUS is not responsible for any misrepresentation of facts, injuries or loss of lives or valuables resulting from any of the prizes won through this Contest and further shall not be liable, whether direct or consequential, for any loss or damages or whatsoever suffered by the participants resulting from their participation in the Contest or as a result of any act or omission on the part of ASUS.
- ASUS reserves the right to modify or cancel this Contest at any time, or change the Terms and Conditions for this Contest, anytime without prior notice.
