From graphics cards to power supplies and cases, ASUS Prime has everything users need to create a stylish and efficient small-form-factor PC. To showcase the possibilities, six professional builders were invited to shoot videos on their respective YouTube channels, where they built their own SFF PCs using ASUS Prime graphics cards and PSUs. YouTube users who share their reactions in the comments using the hashtag #ShowYourPrimeASUS will automatically have a chance to win one of six ASUS Prime graphics cards.
This giveaway runs from September 18 to October 18, 2024. The giveaway is not available in all regions, and certain terms and restrictions apply. Please visit the giveaway page for all the information about the participating YouTube channels and how to enter.
SFF-ready enthusiast GeForce cards and cases
The new NVIDIA SFF-Ready guideline identifies graphics cards that are compact enough for a small-form-factor build, and it also points users to space-saving PC cases that offer sufficient space to install any SFF-Ready card. "As enthusiastic supporters of the small form factor community, we are proud to partner with NVIDIA to deliver powerful performance in compact, space-saving designs. Our SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce graphics cards and cases allow PC enthusiasts to experience the full potential of SFF technology,” said Kent Chien, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Multimedia at ASUS.
Picking these two critical components is as simple as finding a GeForce card marked 'SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce Card' and a case marked 'Compatible with SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce Cards.'
ASUS Prime PC components give users plenty of options. The new Prime GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER and Prime GeForce RTX 4070 graphics cards deliver potent performance for gaming and content creation alike, and each is compact enough to be labeled SFF-Ready. With the Prime AP201 or the Prime AP201 Tempered Glass PC case, users also have microATX chassis options that keep a small footprint while being easy to build with and offering plentiful airflow. And with Prime motherboards, Prime power supplies and Prime AIO coolers, it is easy to finish a build with components that are a perfect stylistic match.
Prime GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 SUPER graphics cards are lean and slim and feature effective cooling solutions. Each model wields three Axial-tech fans with nine blades. A vented backplate optimized for airflow works in tandem with these dynamic fans to keep noise levels and temperatures under tight control. For silent operation under light loads, these graphics cards feature 0dB technology that allows the fans to completely stop spinning whenever temperatures drop below a certain threshold. A physical Dual BIOS switch lets users choose between Performance and Quiet modes with a flick of a finger.
The highly durable dual-ball fan bearings in the Axial-tech fans offer up to twice the lifespan of sleeve bearings, and they are equipped with long-life capacitors. Additionally, these cards were built with ASUS Auto-Extreme technology, which automates the manufacturing process so that all soldering is completed in a single pass, reducing thermal strain and environmental impact for a product that will stand the test of time.
Lay a foundation with Prime power supplies
With their high efficiency ratings, easy PC building features and classic ASUS Prime style, Prime 750W Gold and Prime 850W Gold power supplies are perfect partners for Prime graphics cards in cases ranging from EATX to microATX. Both models are fully modular, letting users cut down on build clutter by only using the cables they need. As ATX 3.0 compatible power supplies, the ASUS Prime Gold Series units are fully compatible with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics cards, thanks to their native 16-pin 12VHPWR cable. On top of that, they are backed by an eight-year warranty.
Unique MicroATX cases with ample space
Standard ATX and extra-large EATX cases offer plenty of room for airflow and premium-sized components, but they demand more desktop real estate than many folks prefer. Smaller cases are readily available, but many of them place too many restrictions on the components users are able to install. The ASUS Prime AP201 and Prime AP201 Tempered Glass cases offer the best of both worlds. As microATX cases, they keep a low profile on a desk, yet their industry-leading spatial efficiency makes sure that users have plenty of room for a wide range of internal hardware.
Prime AP201 cases offer plenty of room for SFF Ready graphics cards, and finding an appropriate power supply is easy. They support standard ATX PSUs up to 180mm long. The top panel supports large 360 mm radiators, letting users get the high-end CPU cooling they need.
Not only can the AP201 fit all this high-end gear into a compact 33-liter volume, it also provides ample room for cable management. A 32 mm-wide compartment behind the power supply mounts gives users a comfortable space to route cables. Conveniently-placed motherboard tray cutouts make it easy to tuck the cords and cables out of sight and create a clean aesthetic.
