ASUS Celebrates iF Design Award 2020 Wins

ASUS receives 13 iF Design Awards for product excellence and achieves top positions in five categories of iF World Design Index of global design leaders
TAIPEI, Taiwan, February 18, 2020 — ASUS today announced that the company has been honored with 13 iF Design Award 2020 wins for outstanding product design and has ranked in the top positions in five categories of the iF World Design Index 2016–2020. The iF World Design Index recognizes companies that have consistently excelled in designing award-winning products and have been leaders in their field or region. The product awards and leading rankings demonstrate the ongoing ASUS commitment to superior product design and user experience.ASUS and ROG products won the iF Design Award in the Telecommunications, Computer, Gaming Hardware/VR and Professional Concept categories. The winners in the Telecommunications category include ZenFone 6 and the RT-AX89X WiFi 6 dual-band smart router. The winners in Computer category are the ProArt Station D940MX desktop; the ASUS X409/X509/X545, ZenBook Duo UX481, ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 and ProArt StudioBook One W590 laptops; and Chromebook Tablet CT100.The winners in the Gaming Hardware/VR category include the ROG Strix XG17 portable gaming monitor, ROG Chakram gaming mouse, ROG Strix Arion NVMe USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSD enclosure, ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard and the ROG Zephyrus S (GX502) gaming laptop. The ROG Face Off concept laptop won in the Professional Concept category.
In the iF World Design Index of global design leaders, ASUS ranked No. 1 in the Taiwan category, within the top three in the Computer category, and within the top ten in the Companies, Asia and Inhouse Design Teams categories.
Each year, the iF International Forum Design GmbH, the world’s oldest independent design organization based on Hannover, Germany, organizes the iF Design Awards. The awards are recognized worldwide as a seal of quality for products that excel in specific criteria, including design quality, degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics and more. This year, the 78-member jury of independent experts from all over the world assessed products and selected winners from a competitive pool of 7,298 entries from 56 countries.
