TAIPEI, Taiwan, November 29, 2018 —ASUS today announced Gaming Station GS50, an extreme gaming PC that delivers ultimate entertainment experiences and helps content creators maximize their productivity.

Powered by a liquid-cooled Intel® Xeon® W processor and an NVIDIA GeForce® RTX™ 2080 graphics card, GS50 provides no-compromise performance for incredibly smooth gameplay and dramatically reduced graphics rendering times. With support for up to four 8K displays, GS50 delivers more immersive gaming, movie and video-streaming experiences, and takes multitasking to new heights with expansive room to view and manipulate content.

From photographers and video editors to other kinds of content creator, GS50 provides the speed, expandability and 24/7 reliability needed depend to create the best possible work – plus all serious computing power for supercharged gaming sessions.

Liquid-cooled, 10-core CPU and RTX 2080 graphics for power performance and gaming

With a 10 core, server-class Intel Xeon W processor and an Intel AVX-512 compute accelerator, Gaming Station GS50 provides a significant performance boost for complex 3D, CAD and other content-creation applications. GS50 has a special liquid-cooling system for the processor, providing quieter and more efficient performance than traditional fan cooling. Liquid cooling also ensures better system stability for users who push their system to the max by running extended heavy workloads or operate in hot environments,

The new PC is equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card. This offers 2944 CUDA cores and an array of 8GB of GDDR6 memory to deliver graphics performance of up to eight gigarays per second and 60-trillion RTX-OPS. This cutting-edge performance is up to 6X faster than previous-generation graphics cards and light years ahead of other cards when rendering realistic, ray-traced graphics. It also means that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 provides a level of graphical realism far beyond what’s possible using traditional rendering techniques. This enables gamers to bump up the detail settings in the latest AAA titles and enjoy maximum immersion with lifelike lighting, reflections, and shadows. Content creators, meanwhile, are able to craft completely realistic objects and scenes for their productions, at high speeds.

32GB of high-performance, high-reliability ECC memory

Data reliability is essential for content creators and those who run mission-critical applications, so Gaming Station GS50 comes equipped with 32GB of error-correcting code (ECC) memory. Unlike traditional UDIMM, this ensures data integrity to protect against system instability and crashes. GS50 also supports up to 128GB of RDIMM, so it offers loads of expansion headroom.
