Jonney Shih
CHAIRMAN
Jonney Shih has served as the Chairman of ASUS since 1993, and until 2007 he also served as the Chief Executive Officer.
As Chairman, Mr. Shih guides the company's vision, corporate culture, and innovation strategies. Under his leadership, ASUS has become an internationally recognized technology leader that ranks No. 1 in worldwide sales of motherboards and No.3 in consumer notebooks. For the last several years, Fortune magazine has named ASUS as one of the World's Most Admired Companies. Since 2013, ASUS has also been recognized as the most valuable international brand from Taiwan for five consecutive years, according to Interbrand.

Mr. Shih is well known for his passion and commitment to innovation, and his relentless pursuit of perfection has helped to commercialize a generation of technology for consumer use. In 2006, he led the development of the revolutionary ASUS Eee PC, a high-quality, compact, cost-effective device that ignited the mobile computing era and marked the beginning of a new category of PCs known today as netbooks.
In 2008, Mr. Shih guided the separation of the ASUS original design manufacturing (ODM) and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) businesses — a strategic decision that proved vital in developing global recognition for the ASUS brand. In 2014, he spearheaded the development and release of ZenFone — the flagship ASUS smartphone series that combines refined aesthetics and functionality to deliver empowering luxury to consumers. Within just two years, ASUS became a top global smartphone brand.
More recently, Mr. Shih has led ASUS to become an international sensation with the introduction of ASUS Zenbo, the first home robot. Zenbo is the first step in realizing his vision of enabling robotic computing for every household while transforming ASUS into a technology leader for the next industry paradigm shift.
Mr. Shih believes that people are the most important asset of any company, and he credits the success of ASUS to its dedicated workforce and corporate culture. To inspire an ongoing commitment to innovation and quality, he has initiated the In Search of Incredible brand promise that defines ASUS culture by encouraging all employees to strive for excellence in everything that they do.

Ted Hsu
VICE CHAIRMAN
Ted Hsu is one of the original founders of ASUS and is currently serving as the Vice Chairman. Previously, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer of ASUS from 2016 to 2018.
Since the earliest years of his career, Mr. Hsu has been engaged in making significant, industry-shifting discoveries that have helped shape the IT landscape in Taiwan. Today, he utilizes his experience, wisdom and passion for technology in his new role as Vice Chairman to help realize the ASUS vision of becoming one of the world's most admired technology companies.

In the years since he helped establish ASUS, Mr. Hsu has served the company in a variety of management roles, overseeing research and development as well as supply chain and production processes. His formal background in research and mastery of hardware and software development, combined with an innate capacity for analysis and business foresight, have enabled him to become an invaluable leader for the company and for the greater IT community in Taiwan. His extraordinary depth and breadth of knowledge across all aspects of the business continue to be a vital resource for ASUS.
In 2002, Mr. Hsu helped ASUS enter the global midrange motherboard market, setting the company on a path to becoming the No. 1 motherboard brand in the world. Following the separation of the ASUS original design manufacturing (ODM) and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) businesses in 2008, Mr. Hsu became Vice Chairman of Pegatron*. After nearly a decade of leading the transformation of Pegatron into one of the most successful OEM businesses in the world, Mr. Hsu returned to the brand he co-founded, to rekindle his passion for IT and innovation.
Mr. Hsu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from National Taiwan University and an Executive Master in Business Administration degree from National Chiao Tung University.
Mr. Hsu enjoys golf, spending time with his family, and in-depth conversations about the future of technology with his friends.

Jonathan Tsang
PRESIDENT, ASUS GROUP
Jonathan Tsang is President of the ASUS Group. From 2008 to 2018 he also served as Vice Chairman.
Since joining ASUS in 1998, Mr. Tsang has guided international business strategies and corporate culture across the organization. Prior to 2008, he oversaw global sales, marketing, product management and customer service for ASUS. In his various roles, he has helped develop essential business principles to establish the highest standards for business practices and product quality, with the aim of winning the hearts of customers everywhere. Under his leadership, ASUS has expanded its international presence with hundreds of localized sales and service points around the world.

Mr. Tsang is passionate about new technology, and he encourages employees to always start with the user in mind when creating new products and services. He believes that a strong corporate culture is vital to the process of developing core business competencies. Together with ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih, Mr. Tsang has co-developed guiding business principles known as the ASUS DNA. The DNA framework identifies humility, integrity, diligence, agility and courage as essential keys to success. This unique focus has helped the company become a leading global technology brand known for innovation, design and quality.
Prior to joining ASUS, Mr. Tsang co-founded Unimax Computer, the first software company in Taiwan to provide Unix-based turnkey solutions. In his leadership role with Unimax, he had the opportunity to learn multiple aspects of business and systems analysis across various industries while developing management information systems.
In his spare time, Mr. Tsang enjoys hiking, Chinese literature and philosophy.

S.Y. Hsu
CO-CEO
S.Y. Hsu drives technical strategy and R&D management, working in collaboration with co-CEO Samson Hu. His extensive technical expertise is inspiring a new generation of smart technology at ASUS.
Mr. Hsu joined ASUS in 1993 as Senior Manager of the Motherboard Business Unit before serving as Vice President of the Eee Systems Business Unit, VP of the NoteBook Business Unit, COO, and VP of the Personal Computer Business Unit.

Under Mr. Hsu's guidance, the motherboard R&D teams achieved multiple revolutionary breakthroughs that helped establish ASUS as an industry-leading and globally renowned motherboard brand. He also led the R&D team for the Eee PC project as well as the R&D team that created the first ASUS Zenbook, which pushed the boundaries of beauty and performance with the world's thinnest, lightest and most powerful notebook. The release of the ZenBook created an entirely new category of laptop that is known today as the ultrabook. More recently, R&D teams led by Mr. Hsu have created leading-edge solutions such as the ASUS Transformer, ZenWatch, and ASUS ScreenPad, which has revolutionized the notebook form factor while opening new application possibilities.
Along with cultivating the ASUS Design Thinking philosophy and challenging his teams to overcome technical barriers in order to live up to the ASUS In Search of Incredible brand promise, Mr. Hsu is a strong advocate for sustainability. He sees the competitiveness surrounding the development of sustainable technologies as a positive trend, and he has worked to ensure the adoption of stringent standards across the ASUS supply chain, beginning with the procurement of raw materials.
Mr. Hsu holds a bachelor's degree from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, an Executive MBA from National Chengchi University in Taiwan, and a joint EMBA from National Taiwan/Fudan University.

Samson Hu
CO-CEO
Samson Hu drives product strategy and corporate operations for ASUS, working in collaboration with co-CEO S.Y. Hsu. His operations expertise, remarkable business insights and strategic long-term vision are leading the way to more efficient products and processes.
Mr. Hu began his ASUS career as Assistant Vice President of the Motherboard ODM Business Unit before serving as VP of the Eee System Business Unit, VP of the Tablet Business Unit, VP of Mobile Communication Products, and COO. Prior to becoming co-CEO he served as VP of Global Customer Service and General Manager of the Personal Computer Business Unit.

In 2006, Mr. Hu helped to guide the product planning and business operation of the revolutionary ASUS Eee PC, a netbook sensation that sparked the beginning of a global mobile computing era. In 2011, he oversaw development of the innovative ASUS Transformer Pad, which established an entirely new category of devices known today as 2-in-1 PCs. Building on the global recognition that followed the release of the Transformer Pad, Mr. Hu spearheaded a novel partnership with Google in 2012 to create the Nexus 7, which became a top-selling tablet around the world.
Mr. Hu combines a comprehensive knowledge of operations with business and market insights in order to efficiently deliver high-quality products and services that answer the changing demands of consumers. Along with helping to create some of the most innovative products ever developed by ASUS, he has also led the successful transformation of ASUS customer service teams. This challenging undertaking created new experiences for consumers around the world, further strengthening the ASUS brand by delivering on the mission of creating the most ubiquitous, intelligent, heartfelt, and joyful smart life for everyone.
Mr. Hu holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University, a master's degree in computer engineering from National Chiao Tung University, and an Executive MBA from National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
