ProArt B660-Creator D4 is an enhanced motherboard designed for intensive content-creation workloads like 3D rendering and 4K/8K video editing. It unleashes the performance of 13th & 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors through robust power delivery and cooling design, and its comprehensive connectivity includes onboard 2.5 Gb and 1 Gb Ethernet, a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C® front-panel connector with Quick Charge 4+, and DisplayPort™ via USB-C.
An array of powerful I/O ports — including 2.5 Gb and 1 Gb Ethernet ports and three M.2 slots — enables quick data transfers and extensive storage options.
This USB Type-C® port delivers transfer speeds of up to 10 Gbps, and it supports an alternate mode that provides DisplayPort™ 1.4 output for up to 8K resolution at 60 Hz. This new feature gives creators premium-grade flexibility to choose between high-speed data or an additional hi-res display*.
*This functionality requires the bundled DP-to-DP cable to be connected from an installed graphics card to the DP IN port located on the rear I/O panel of the motherboard.
A USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 connector boosts Type-C data transfers with speeds of up to 20 Gbps. The connector also features Quick Charge 4+ technology that can quickly charge devices up to 60 W with a PCIe power supply cable plugged into the nearby 6-pin connector.
ProArt B660-Creator D4 features Thunderbolt™ 4 support via an on-board header. The ASUS ThunderboltEX 4 add-on card is certified by Intel and can enable bi-directional speeds of up to 40 Gbps on a single cable. Additionally, the card has a daisy-chain function for multiscreen connection and supports one display with up to 8K resolution . It can also provide up to 100 watts of power to fast-charge devices.
With three PCIe 4.0/3.0 M.2 slots, ProArt B660-CREATOR D4 takes full advantage of CPU and chipset bandwidth, paving the way for incredibly fast and high-capacity SSD drives that easily surpasses traditional SATA-based storage.
The innovative Q-Latch makes it easy to install or remove an M.2 SSD without the need for specific tools. The design employs a simple locking mechanism to secure the drive, eliminating the need for screws.
Dual Ethernet ports provide fast data transfers simultaneously for internet and for local network-attached storage (NAS), allowing for improved data organization and security.
The 2.5 Gb Ethernet port provides faster data transfers and smooth high-res video streaming.
The Intel I219-V Ethernet chip reduces CPU overhead and offers exceptionally high TCP and UDP throughput for faster, smoother data transfers.
ProArt B660-Creator D4 features an M.2 slot (key E) which can support type 2230 WiFi/Bluetooth modules*.
