    How Does AccessNow Work?

    It’s so simple! All you need is a Web-browser, and an internet connection.

    1. Open a web page
    2. Enter the address of the Ericom Access Server that you’ve installed (the Terminal Server or VDI platform)
    3. Enter your log-in credentials
    4. Click ‘Connect’ — The desktop (or application) appears directly inside the browser window - That’s it.



    1. End-user navigates to the AccessNow URL to start the connection.
    2. Client connects to Access Server using WebSockets — Access Server is usually installed on RDP host itself.
    3. Access Server translates WebSocket communication
    4. to / from RDP.
    5. Remote Windows desktop / application UI is displayed inside the browser window.
    6. NOTE: Optionally, client connects to Access Server through Ericom Secure Gateway



    Technical Features

    • URL redirection– clicking a web link in the remote session optionally opens it in a tab in the local browser
