[Accessories] ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova FAQ

1.Does the ROG Cetra True Wireless SpeedNova support Apple iPhone 15 and gaming consoles like PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or Xbox?
In Bluetooth mode, the headphones support Apple iPhone 15 and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, you can use the Cetra True Wireless with above devices and PlayStation 4 & 5 in 2.4 GHz mode. However, neither connectivity option supports compatibility with Xbox.

2.Are the headphones using the new Qualcomm solution?
No, the ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova does not use a Qualcomm chip. Instead, we utilize the latest high-performance chip from a leading audio IC maker. This solution ensures that our headphones deliver exceptional performance in latency, ANC and power efficiency for an outstanding audio experience.

3.What is the benefit for Hybrid multipoint connection?
You can connect to your PC using the 2.4 GHz dongle for gaming while simultaneously pairing with your phone via Bluetooth. When your phone receives a call, the headphones seamlessly switch to the call, and after the conversation, they automatically revert to your PC.
Alternatively, if you’re gaming on your phone and enjoy music on PC, you can answer a call on your phone effortless. Post-call, the earbuds smoothly switch back to your PC as the last audio source, ensuring a convenient and uninterrupted user experience.
* The priority in transmission: phone calls > play game/music > sound notifications

4.Will the microphones on both earbuds pick up voice?
No, your voice will be captured by the microphones on either the right or left earbud, depending on the initial connection to the device. If the right earbud is connected first, and you take it off, the microphone on the left earbud will seamlessly pick up your voice instead.

5.How can I mute the microphone with a gesture during phone calls? Is the mute status synchronized with communication software?
Simply press the right earbud once to mute or unmute the microphone. While the microphone mute status cannot be synchronized with communication software, the function still works seamlessly.

6.Can Multipoint feature be turned off?

No, it can't be turned off.

7.What are the mainly differences between the current ROG Cetra TWS and new SpeedNova version?
The ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova has the following optimizations compared to ROG Cetra TWS

  • 2.4 GHz mode with SpeedNova technology: providing lower latency, greater stability, and improved power efficiency.
  • Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): This advanced technology makes real-time adjustments based on the in-ear fit and shape of ear canal, significantly enhancing noise cancellation. It even reduces wind noise for a fully immersive experience.
  • Bone Conduction AI microphones: The combination of bone conduction and AI Noise-Canceling Beamforming microphone precisely captures voice and maintains natural sound, ensuring clearer communication.
  • Hybrid Multipoint: allows simultaneous pairing with two devices via Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz connectivity.
