ASUS Announces VivoMini UN45

Stylish mini PC powered by the latest Intel processor delivers full-fledged computing for the home or office

ASUS today announced VivoMini UN45, a mini PC that offers desktop-like performance and full PC functionality for the home or office. ASUS VivoMini UN45 has an elegant 131 x 131 x 42mm chassis which shares the same Good Design Award-winning lines of VivoMini UN62. VivoMini UN45 operates in silence thanks to its fanless design and low-power processor. It is available with the latest quad- or dual-core Intel® Celeron® processors, and supports 4K/UHD displays. In addition, it has native M.2 support, with a PCI Express® SSD option providing data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbit/s; while 802.11ac Wi-Fi provides stronger signals and up to three times the speed of previous Wi-Fi standards. A software suite, including the ASUS-exclusive Media Streamer, Remote Go!, and ASUS Business Manager apps, makes VivoMini UN45 ideal for homes or small businesses.

VivoMini UN45 shares VivoMini UN62’s Good Design Award-winning chassis, with smooth rounded edges and the iconic Zen-inspired spun-metal-effect finish. The glossy Midnight Blue color scheme makes it a striking addition to any office or home. Its compact and lightweight design measures just 131 x 131 x 42mm and can be VESA-mounted on the back of a display — allowing users to create a custom all-in-one PC.

VivoMini UN45 is ideal for use as a point-of-sale (POS) terminal, digital signage, kiosk display, or as a small-office computing platform. It can be easily customized to users’ needs, and can serve as a personal PC, home entertainment center, or media library for music, movies, and games.

Silent operation with desktop-class performance

VivoMini UN45 has a fanless^[1]design and a low-power processor that lets it operate in silence even under full load — making it ideal for quiet environments like libraries or offices. This low-noise design also helps when watching movies or listening to music. The robust fanless design also allows for easy, cost-effective maintenance.

VivoMini UN45 is powered by the latestquad- or dual- core Intel Celeron processors (‘Braswell’) for desktop-grade performance. Native M.2 support provides high-speed data storage capabilities, with an optional PCIe® SSD enabling data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbit/s. VivoMini UN45 has 4K/UHD display support for stunningly-detailed visuals, making it ideal for digital signage or home theater PC use.

VivoMini UN45 has extensive connectivity options and has easy-access side USB ports with Battery Charging Specification 1.2 (BC 1.2) to fast-charge mobile devices in half the time. It works with any display, HDMI-enabled TV, or projector, and can even stream content wirelessly.

VivoMini UN45 also supports up to three independent displays^[2]through HDMI, Mini DisplayPort++, and USB. This allows users to spread out various work windows, mirror content, or extend a single window across multiple displays.

VivoMini UN45 features 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and when paired with the exclusive ASUS Media Streamer or Remote Go! apps, allow users to stream content or control VivoMini UN45 remotely. Users can wirelessly share and stream multimedia content like music and movies.
