The new Zenbook S 13 OLED is a 13.3-inch laptop designed with the principle of more care, less impact in mind. It’s the most sustainable, uncompromising new Zenbook. The tough cover makes it especially suitable for those always on the go, offering durability with a sophisticated look.

This laptop cuts the carbon footprint in half, compared to one made of non-recycled metal*. Multiple parts are made with recycled, sustainable materials: the top cover and bottom case are made of 50% post-industrial recycled aluminum. The keyboard cover is made of 90% post-industrial recycled (PIR) magnesium aluminum. Keycaps are made of 50% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), and the speakers are made with 5% ocean-bound and 45% PCR plastic. Plus, the PCB on this laptop is completely halogen-free.

There are two colorways available: Basalt Gray and Ponder Blue. The Basalt Gray color variant comes with a plasma ceramic coating. The ceramization technique gives the metal alloy a longer lifespan by increasing its hardness to 8H level, and making it resistant to wear and fading, as well as improving its thermal isolation properties, better protecting the insides of your laptop. The coating is also anti-abrasive and protects the laptop chassis from corrosion. Not to mention that the cover with the ceramic coating is aesthetically pleasing and gives an interesting stony texture and ceramic-smooth feel to the aluminum alloy body while also having anti-fingerprint properties to ensure the laptop looks great at all times. The coating is made using an eco-friendly process, known as plasma electrolytic oxidation, or PEO, that utilizes neutral aqueous electrolytes.

The packaging for Zenbook S 13 OLED is made of FSC™*** Mix-certified paper. It is 100% recyclable and is completely glue-free. As a bonus, part of the packaging can be used as a convenient laptop stand.
