[NUC] How to disable USB port power delivery when the PC is Off?

Resolution

NUC products offer various control for the USB port power delivery.

You can disable power delivery to all USB ports while the PC is off by enabling "Deep Power Saving Mode." Please note that once this feature is activated, the system will consume less power in S4/S5 states (while turned off), and as a result, the system can only be turned on by the power button or RTC alarm. LAN wake might be available in some products. All other wake methods will be disabled.

To enable "Deep Power Saving Mode", please follow the steps below:
1. Press power button to turn on the system, and, press the "F2" key immediately to access the BIOS setup menu.
2. Navigate to "Power, Performance and Cooling." (or “Power” menu in some products)
3. Go to "Secondary Power Settings."
4. Check the box for "Deep Power Saving Mode (Pseudo G3)" (or "Deep S4/S5" in some cases).
5. Press "F10" to save the BIOS settings.

You can enable/disable USB type-A port power delivery when the PC is off by enabling/disabling “USB S4/S5 Power”. Note that the USB-C and USB charging ports will supply power regardless  of “USB S4/S5 Power” setting.
